Oceans Edge Key West Resort, Hotel & Marina

It’s a beautiful resort, clean, peaceful and relaxing. I like the Paddleboards available for use and 6 pools to enjoy. I love that they are dog friendly but I would like to see grass to take my furry baby to potty since I paid a $70 pet fee per day of our stay, I did not find a patch of grass in Building 1 where we stayed. We had lunch in the Resort Restaurant and the food was amazing which justifies the price. There’s also a shuttle available for service. We enjoyed our time In this beautiful Resort.

First room in building 3 was quiet but smelled bad so they switched our room. Second room in building 1 was good except it was noisy with kids in the next rooms and screaming in the pools ..otherwise the resort is really nice and well cared for the grounds are beautiful and the marina is interesting to watch. The maintenance workers and housekeeping do a very good job. We never did find the ice machine, but there were wine glasses and a coffee maker.

Went with family. Amazing, food is great. It feels good to stay in a place so clean and well maintained. Loved it.

When we checked in at 11pm our room was destroyed. It was never cleaned and looked like it had a crazy party in it prior to us arriving. The staff had no other 2 bd suites to put us into and so they offered to split up my family in 2 single rooms. When I woke up the next morning I discovered they charged my card for the 2nd room. When asking them why they charged they said because now I occupied 2 rooms and not 1. The staff actually said they did me a "favor" bc they didn't charge me full rate for the 2nd room. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

My family loved the 6 pools. So many options of things to do. Just know if you plan on using the shuttle service, you must reserve. Some drivers were nice, others not so much. The place was very nice, peaceful, and quiet.

Loved this property it was like a dream. So quiet,private property with lot of things to do if you have children. Property itself offers 2 hours of water activity, food is amazing, pools are very clean and staff is so so nice. I am definitely look forward to coming back to this property.

First time traveling to key west with adult children and young child age is 6. Location isn’t far from main area it’s very easy to get around straight 10 mins from airport and about 4 miles to Duvall square. Hotel is good size for small family or group of 4. More than that will be tight. Pools and resorts are clean and inviting. I love to watch the boats come in and the fresh catch people bring in. Locals are friendly . I highly recommend this location.

Overall, good stay at the resort. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Grounds well maintained. On site restaurant was delicious. Had breakfast, lunch and dinner and was pleased every time. One of best restaurants I’ve experienced at a resort. Six pools so plenty of space and privacy. Drinks were really good too, especially the rum punch. Few issues during our stay. Shuttle driver was not friendly and started to pull off as my husband was walking to his seat, causing him to stumble. Not safe. Room booked not available when checked in. Had to be switched to my suite next morning. Stated there was a maintenance issue. New room wasn’t cleaned well. Bathroom smelled like a sour mop. Stains on the couch and carpet. Cabinet door fell off the hinge. Red stain on pillowcase. Should’ve stayed in original room. Rented golf cart and it died the following morning. Had to swap out for new one. Resort is kid and pet friendly so not ideal for romantic or peaceful getaway. Awoken to kids playing in pool and dog barking early in the morning. Bring bug spray… tons of mosquitoes. Lizards ALL over the property so if you have a fear of them, wouldn’t advise staying here. Didn’t bother me.

Our overnight stay was lovely. Checked in at 3 pm, the kids enjoyed the pool till about 6:30 pm and then we headed to Mallory Sq. for dinner. Definitely a do over but longer stay for sure. Staff were great and the hotel was very nice.

There were a few things that made my experience poor. Room service didn’t clean the room everyday and only brought towels . At the pool the staff M ignored my family and I when we tried to request drinks . She intentionally turned her head and pretended we’re there . At the end she made sure to acknowledge that gratuity is included .
