It is NOT child free as advertised. The bed wasn’t very comfy and the floors in the rooms need a good mopping and/or scrubbing. They made our feet dark brown. Great pool. Yummy food. Great service. A bit far from everything and the shuttle often fills up but the drivers were super nice and on time, especially Jackie!! Over all though - An okay hotel but I would choose elsewhere if I return to key west

We loved our stay here and can’t wait to come back! The lobby and overall decor/vibe of the hotel is so fun! We loved all of the greenery everywhere, and the lizards and chickens running around we also a favorite little bonus. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Loved the bar and the food truck- so yummy! Our ONLY complaint would be all the screaming kids running around, not our favorite thing to deal with on our honeymoon, but so excited to hear they’re going kid-free in October, so we’ll definitely be back! Book it, you won’t regret it (after October anyway)!

There were kids every where, couldn’t even get in the pool the first day. I did love the hotel decor and the pool was really pretty and the bartender’s were very nice and helpful, the lady at breakfast when we ordered not so friendly.

Havana Cabana is currently NOT all adult. So if you’re looking for something for the summer without kids, look somewhere else. The property is old but they do strive to keep it clean. The rooms are old and a bit musty, but ok. The staff is lovely, front desk staff is great and very helpful. Food and drinks at the pool bar are expensive as is everything in Key West. Resort fee is also quite high for basically a pool. Shuttle service is a plus, but drops off quite a ways from Mallory Square so keep that in mind. Only one location too. Drivers are nice and were accommodating for us on a couple occasions. All in all it was a nice stay. I won’t be going back, there are a lot of places to explore.

Property adverse as “adults only” however it had over 50 children running around, dirty pool and pool area, dirty rooms, very outdated hotel, don’t waist your money there. Far from everything fun. No beach area, located on a very busy road.

The pool and bar area is fabulous! We enjoyed wonderful food and drinks and the staff was wonderful. The shuttle allows for easy trips downtown. We opted for the room with a bunk bed and pull out couch for the kids and it worked out great. Hunting for curly tailed lizards and iguanas kept the boys entertained for hours. Our family of four had a blast and we can't wait to return.

I have a lot to say but I'm going to summarize it: in 3 nights we returned with two sick children. The rooms are musty and damp, the bad smell is horrible, we couldn't sleep because of the humidity and bad smell. From the first day we asked for our room to be cleaned as early as possible to see if it improved and no one came until 4 pm because I complained again. Nobody pays attention to you and they don't care. Appalling

We enjoyed the property and especially the service provided by all the staff. The pool was great for the kids and the play area as well. Had time to play connect 4 and Jenga life size in a relaxed environment. Chris G, Aiko, Jesse, Ron and Blanca were all fantastic. Valentina the bartender and other bartenders were friendly and accommodating.

We were so impressed with the Havana Cabana in so many ways, The decor and theming is beautiful and so well done. The pool is incredible. The service could not have been better, The snacks in the lobby, the free drinks upon check in, the floats and toys around the pool area for kids to use, even free sunglasses left in the room are all just things that show how they go above and beyond to provide the best stay. Our only issue (and it wasn’t enough to impact our stay in a negative way to the point of reaching out) was that in our room, 143, the floors seem to be holding water underneath them. whether it’s from a leak, a prior flood, or from mop water, i’m not sure.. but as we walked around the room water was pouring from under the floor boards. we used towels to soak it all up as it got worse through the night. it seems to be a problem that’s been going on long enough to cause the floor boards to have bent and warped from water damage and there is the slightest mildew smell to the room because of it. This took us a while of being in the room and walking around on the floor to realize and by the time we did, it was nighttime and we overlooked it. But it is something worth looking into!
