Fairfield Inn & Suites Key West at The Keys Collection

This reservation was for 2 rooms double room for 3 person's and king room 2 people. in my name. martin Nichols. My family members ended up arriving earlier me do to a funeral on my part. I called the Fairfield national number to advise them of this and gave the name of family member who be checking in. Rep. Jada said no problem and OK'd me arriving later that evening. My daughter arrived at 2:00 pm and asked to check in early. Front desk employee Alexander said no couldn't be done without an Email from me to him directly. I called and talked with front desk and gave verbal permission and he said no can't accept that it has to be an email all this while driving. The connectivity was poor in our area and couldn't get the Email to go through. Finally stopped at a fast food restaurant to use the Wi-Fi. And after all this the one continuing theme was that I was a third party reservation like it was a disease of some sort.

When I arrived I was giving room #201 came into the room lay down for a bit when I notice bunch of insects in my room. They were everywhere on the floor the tv stand walls it looked like an infestation. Went to front desk with video proof and change the room to 205. The room look ok we decided to stay since it had no bugs….Wrongggg throughout the night my self wife and kids got bitten so many times. My wife still treating the bites I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THE FAIRFIELD INN AGAIN!!!!!!!

The property is away from busy Duval street which is great for families. There's a nice big pool which was great for the kids. The breakfast is also very good and has lots of choices.

The property was clean and generally in good shape, but it was not a quality hotel relative to the price we paid for it. The amenities were nothing special, the breakfast was underwhelming even for hotel breakfast, it was in an inconvenient location, the room had broken furnishings, you had to pay for parking at the hotel which is ridiculous, and they were no help when it came to kid friendly amenities. I’ve stayed in worse, but I would expect the same quality for a hotel room half the price. Not happy with this at all.

The breakfast was decent as was the pool. This hotel is a walk up situation with 2 floors and limited elevators located near the lobby. We had booked our room over 6 months ago yet upon check in, with one person using a cane due to limited mobility, they put us out of our intended room (there were 2 tour buses that apparently got preference) and in the room farthest from the lobby on the second floor. There was no chair in the room, only a desk chair even though there was plenty of room for one. The room lighting was poor. The luggage cart had a flat tire. When we asked for coffee pods or towels at the front desk they did not have any, but had to get them from somewhere else. There was a van to take you in to Key West, but if it was filled you were out of luck and had to wait another half hour. For the price I paid per night expected to be wowed! I was very disappointed. Apparently the owner owns 4 properties and if that is so, this property is the step child!

Quiet area with a nice family friendly pool. The gym could use some updating but overall, a great stay.

Had an amazing stay Rufuel and coustuuzn treayed us like family
