Staff was very nice. Very nice free breakfast in the morning. The hotel is near a very nice, walkable residential neighborhood. Room was clean and we had a really nice kitchen which was great for prepping for Thanksgiving dinner at our family's house.

Great location with lots of great food 2 blocks away walking. No pool and tiny twin beds made it less fun for the family.

Stayed for one night, friendly staff, super close to the Santa Monica pier. Free parking which was great! Also went to Gilbert’s down the street for dinner, family owned, great food!

We were unsure what to expect. Our previous stays in L.A. had us wary of hotels… particularly those in our budget. We’ve stayed in more than a few sketchy ones. We tried this hotel based on reviews and can understand why they have such positive ones. Very clean, comfortable, helpful staff. More space than we expected. Lots of extra niceties like snacks in the rooms. We felt comfortable walking about with the family. L.A. is a noisy city so hard to get around the sound of traffic but it was not invasive and no sound issues with fellow guests. We will definitely come back next time we find ourself in L.A.

Secured gate to get into our room location, but at times we notice ppl not securing gate to lock after they leave. Needed an extra parking spot (one vehicle per room), they were accommodating and had us just pay an additional fee to park an extra car overnight so my son can leave in the morning to the University. Parking spots are tight, we had a mini van and I was happy we got there early to get a big enough spot to pull in and park. Room was close to parking area, clean and did smell fresh. They had a couple free snacks to enjoy and also grip socks since the newer flooring could be slippery for some. Ample bath towels for 4 ppl w/o having to ask. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in stationary containers in the shower. But, in ours it seemed the body wash and shampoo was exactly the same. So, we didn’t use. Beds are clean & comfortable. Noisy from upstairs kids running until after 11:30pm, but what could hotel do. Air conditioner worked great and was pretty quiet. Breakfast was just a few items and pancake machine took awhile for the amount of ppl needing it. Just grabbed coffee & left instead. We did already make reservations to stay here again while visiting our student!

We chose this property because of its convenient location to our children. It is not a resort but it is a recently renovated, spotlessly clean motel type of accommodation in Santa Monica. Every staff member we came in contact with was especially friendly, kind and eager to be of service. We stayed in a courtyard room with a small kitchen. It is a welcoming space, nicely decorated with plants, tables, chairs and barbecues. Very clean. It has a well stocked breakfast buffet of cereals, muffins, yogurts, bread, fruit and a fresh pancake maker with toppings. Parking is tight but there were always spots. Trader Joe’s is across the street and many very good restaurants close by. Housekeeping does excellent job. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant!

This hotel has everything you need without all the pointless amenities that would make it overpriced. We had a family room and it was just what was required for our stay near the beach. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We could not have asked for a better first stop on our family vacation!

I paid for 2 suites with jacuzzi tubs. After a long day with grandkids at 10 pm I ran a bath however the jacuzzi tub did not work. In the morning I tried to make a pot of coffee but the coffee maker didn’t work. When Hi complained at the desk at checkout I was told they have 24 hour service and could’ve sent someone to my room to repair the Jacuzzi tub. Really? 10 at night somebody’s going to come over and fix a Jacuzzi tub. Who knows how long
Would have taken and really at 10 o’clock at night. My husband and I always get two rooms either joining or next to each other because of snoring issues. We are planning to visit our grandkids once a month and hope this would be the hotel for us. But after that experience we would not want to stay at that hotel again. The front desk acted like it was our fault for not calling them at 10 at night

Clean and spacious room. We had a comfortable stay, and my toddler didn’t have problem sleeping because the place was quiet. Most of all smoke free. we’ll be back this summer.

The courtyard area was fantastic, even though they had to do grab and go breakfast bags still because of state mandate they had a touchless pancake maker and juice as well, all the staff was courteous and polite. Other reviews talked about noise and how walls were thin. It is true that walls are thin but we were there 4 nights and all the guests seemed aware of this and kept noise down so it was never an issue for us and our babies (who we also tried to keep pretty quiet from 8pm to 8am) We will def be staying here again.
