Bayside Hotel

We had a wonderful stay. Location is fantastic, hotel was clean and room was spacious (family of 4 with 2 teenagers). We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed there while attending brother’s memorial. Very convenient to family home. Good handicap shower.

Our family absolutely loves staying at this hotel. We travel from Las Vegas and we look forward to the beach and the weather. Everything is perfect. The staff go above and beyond with their customer service. Pets are allowed and we couldn't be happier!

Our stay was not amazing. Our first night we had a couple in the garden area after 2am probably through 430 am talking really loud or arguing. 2nd night, we had a family next to us and allowed the children to run up and down the walkway at 701am. Our entire stay we had a bad odor in the kitchenette, I was thinking it was gas.

The cable didn’t work in our room and they didn’t have a solution which is challenging with kids The beds were stuff and uncomfortable The rooms were remodeled and looked nice Bathrooms were also remodeled and looked good The location was convenient for the beach We wouldn’t stay there again

We enjoyed our stay here, room was big with plenty of space and very clean. The only concern was the area that this hotel was located, during our first night we had a couple of people try our door and even banging on the door. There is open access at the side of the hotel and anyone can access the hotel and the front of your door if you are on the ground floor. There is a locked door at one side which is completely pointless because you can access the area at the opposite side. I’m not sure if the person banging on our door was a homeless person but there were plenty of homeless people around the hotel so I am guessing it was. Really unsettling and would be for a family with young children. It didn’t ruin our stay & we had a lovely 2nd night stay with no disturbances but thought it was worth mentioning.

The Bayside Hotel is a perfect place to stay in Santa Monica! It’s on the beach and is a 5 minute walk to the Santa Monica Pier and the main shopping district. The staff are very courteous and helpful and the rooms are very clean. It’s the only place we stay whenever we visit family in Santa Monica!

The room was clean and well kept, bed was comfortable. nice easy walk to the beach and pier. $30 parking was severely overpriced, do yourself a favor and feed the meters, but make sure to read the signs. overall a great place for a couple or small family on a budget to stay in Santa Monica
