Our family loved the room for its amenities and cleanliness. It was great having the forest right outside our balcony too. The proximity to the town shops was great. 1 night was not enough to enjoy all the amenities, we’ll definitely be coming back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property. The front staff was incredibly friendly, and accommodating. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel amenities were top notch. The restaurant in the hotel had a delicious breakfast buffet, and starbucks coffee. This hotel connects right to the main village street in Whistler, so walkable access was incredible while travelling with kids. We loved the pool area, and the amenities within the pool area (Eucalyptus steam room? yes please!!). I can not wait to come back, this resort will always have a special place in my heart!

Always a pleasant stay at the Westin. The room was spacious and had a lovely view of the forest. Only downsides were that that the pool was quite small and overrun with children.

The Westin in Whistler is now one of my favorite Westin properties (on par with Westin Kaanapali in Maui…IMO). Situated within the Whistler Village - feels like you’re in the middle of a movie scene…like Sound of Music. The property is beautifully kept. The pool was fun…not huge, but pretty unique in that it’s both indoors and outdoors. The staff are SUPER friendly and made check-in a wonderful experience. We stayed in a studio suite (2 adults and 2 kids) and it felt very spacious. We didn’t take advantage of the stovetop, but did use the fridge to keep water and food cold. The suite had a cute little fireplace, but being Summer time, we didn’t get a chance to run it. Had some drinks at Firerock lounge…standard hotel drink prices. Cool little place to have drinks…again, with super awesome staff. We tried the breakfast buffet next to the lounge, but it was underwhelming - saw some Belgian waffles, but they were some of the worst waffles I’ve ever had. However, the service again was superb. I would save your money and go eat at one of the many places offered within the village (the pastries at Pure Bread were fantastic…about 10-15 minute walk from Westin). My family and I had a ton of fun at this property and at Whistler in general. We only stayed two nights, and wished we could stay longer. I highly recommend this property.

We usually love staying at this property but this time we did not have as great of an experience. They put us in a room with a joining door and we had very noisy neighbours. There was also so many kids in the pool it felt like a Disney cruise. I know these things are difficult to control but for the price it was not the relaxing getaway we had hoped for. We also didn’t have our room cleaned and serviced until 4:00pm the next day. All in all still a great location and super friendly staff but not the luxury experience we had encountered in past visits.

The location is just near the whistler village gondola, which is really convenient for family especially with young kids; besides, there is kitchen in the room which is perfect!

We loved our stay at the Westin. We had a one-bedroom suite for myself, my husband and our 3-year old and we stayed for 3 nights. Check in was seamless, bell service was quick and convenient, room was spotless, spacious and fully equipped. Location is right in the village, walking distance to everything. On the grounds, we used the spa, the pool and hot tubs every day.
A couple of things though; the bathroom door didnt work which isn't that big of a deal, but when you need privacy from a toddler, it would have been handy! We were having a couple of friends over, so we ordered up a charcuterie plate and some soup for my son. Both items came up in takeout containers which I thought was weird considering you pay top dollar for this food, it didnt even come on a plate. Again, not a big deal but definitely out of the ordinary for room service at hotels like this. Also, we called down on our 3rd night looking for pricing and availability for a 4th night and the front desk couldn't help us until 8:30am the next morning which I found strange. She suggested we book online, but if I did that I couldn't be guaranteed the same room. I unfortunately booked our 4th night at another hotel in the village which was great but we would have preferred to stay put. I thought it was a little strange that front desk couldn't help me book one more night.
Other than that, our stay was great. Would definitely recommend the Westin for young famillies.

I liked everything. Great spa, great views, great pool.
The only thing I did not like: nobody to check at the pool if rules were observed. In the morning: kids running on the wet deck and jumping in the pool; in the evening: lots of alcool and bottles around the pool, plus drunk people. No evidence of people watching around to enforce the rules at the pool. I will probably come back to that hotel, but more active surveillance from the personnel would be needed around the pool, both AM and evenings. Thanks
