Nice stay overall. Rooms are simple and clean, and staff were friendly at check-in. Would recommend to anyone who is skiing or anyone with kids.

The Aava is a great hotel to stay at for skiing at Whistler! The mountain and Whistler village are both walking distance. The hotel offered a small discount on rentals at a shop around the corner and also provided storage for skis/boards. The walls are a little thin for my liking as there were young kids running up and down the halls at early hours in the morning but overall, we enjoyed our stay a lot!

The staff was very friendly and helpful when concerns arose. The doors are paper thin, you can hear everything in the hall that occurs and the room above you if the upstairs neighbours have kids it can be extremely noisey.

I will not come back . Noisy heat , lack of maintenance of swimming pool , my kids got hurt and bleeding . Front desk staffs are not helpful

Normally we have a good stay in this property, this time not so good. The staff was not friendly or welcoming, they seems like they only care about having a job so they can enjoy whistler in the summer. We got placed between three rooms that party all weekend all night, lots of noise, knocking on doors, drunk, swearing etc. not a great environment for a family. I always stay here in the past but I’m reconsidering other options for the future. I hope management and ownership pay attention and correct these issues.

It’s a simple, no muss, no fuss accommodation. We were looking for an affordable place to stay for 1 night in Whistler with our toddlers and the Aava offered that. The pool is a little small especially with kids pool floats but they have it fenced in so it feels like you’re nowhere near the highway.

While checking in, I was told I will be charged “dishonest fee”. Are h kidding me? We booked 2 queen bedrooms and we entered 2 guests. Probably a mistake but we are joking hotels for each city. On our face the staff told we have to pay $31 for being dis honest. Really? I from if my family calling me right in my face. Give me a break.
