Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Williamsburg

Good location and price. I liked that the hotel honored our request for ajoining rooms. We were traveling with our grandchildren and having the rooms side-by-side was great.

When I got there, I asked if I can have two double beds instead of King. Was told there are no rooms available with double beds for two nights (even though I found out later from a friend that checked in 3 hrs after me the did get a double bed room for two nights). The staff offered to bring in a rolling bed. Which they did but left it for me and my kid to figure out how to set it up. The next day, I noticed by 2 o'clock, our room was still not cleaned. When I went to the front desk to ask when they will come, was asked if I've requested it when I checked in. I told them I wasn't aware I needed to request at check in (apparently, the stuff should have asked that at check in but they did not). I had to ask for hairdryer and lotion since the room did not have it. When the lady at the front desk gave me 1 small lotion, I asked if she can give me few more since there was 3 of us. She rolled her eyes and said that is all we have.
