Club Wyndham Kingsgate

It was a great place to go with kids and young adults as a family. This is not a romantic couple getaway resort. The suites we perfect four our family of four. Alot of space to cook and be together. The grounds are well kept and the suites are nice. The staff is super friendly

Rooms were nice and updated. Clean resort with lots of activities. Game room was great for the kids and pool was good. On Sunday, they said there was a DJ and I even confirmed it’s a DJ was still coming no matter the weather and they said yes. We decided to do the pool that day. Looking forward to the Dj being there and they never showed up. Also what I did not like was staff was pushy on trying to get you to do a timeshare presentation after I clearly told them no. I will stay here again, but if they continue to call my phone and harass me about a timeshare then I might change my mind. I have a feeling I’m on some list now.

Other than briefly trying to sell timeshare at check-in, this place is great. Great units, great campus. Clean comfortable, safe, fun! Location is very close to Williamsburg and all the tourists destinations. Recommend. Great for families.

Beautiful property. Has several amenities for the family. There is a family pool hot tub and adult pool. A great game room, on site mini golf, jumbo checkers and chess, ping pong, corn hole, movie room and scheduled events. The site is a timeshare type property so dont be surprised when they ask you to attend a presentation. We did not attend as we were from the west coast and the opportunity would not suit us. We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit/condo. It was perfect, staff was friendly and replaced toiletries as doon as we requested them. The kitchen had everything we needed.we would definitely recommend this site to anyone we know traveling to the area.

It was a very quiet place, and we had a good time. Kitchen had everything we needed to fix meals. Service for 8. Cabinets were dated. Dining room chairs are not tall enough for table! I felt like I was a kid sitting at the table.

Great stay and great staff plenty of nice activities for the entire family. Will visit again!!!

This is a Wyndham property. We booked through Hotels.com. just wanted to check into our room on arrival. Instead we were told we had a complimentary time share presentation scheduled for the next day. I said no thank you. 8 times before they have us our keys and let us go to our room. Room was on 3rd floor with no elevators. I was highly annoyed at having to schlep our luggage up 3 flights of stairs with no prior notice that there was no elevator. That should be front page info on the booking. An elderly couple could have a very hard time. The room was nice, but not cleaned well. It appeared a poor job was done vacuuming. The bathroom had lotion or something still spilled on the counter, and men's whisker debris still in a bathroom drawer (previous guest probably used electric shaver and stored it in the drawer). Garbage bags collected during housekeeping sat on the first floor landing for a couple of days before being collected. The attention to cleanliness left something to be desired. It wasn't horrible but for a top line resort, it packed attention to detail. Positives: 2 swimming pools, workout center, FREE video games for the kids in the arcade, a movie theater, poolside Cafe when the weather gets warmer. The amenities were quite good. I was disappointed with the room cleanliness and the Wyndham time share pressure when we arrived.
