Springhill Suites by Marriott Williamsburg

The hotel is decent at best. Pros: Staff were very friendly; breakfast was consistently good each day with something for everyone; beds were cozy, suite was spacious; working ice machines on each floor; complimentary tea and coffee 24/7 but hot water is removed for the tea at night. Room TVs were great and they auto sign you out of streaming services which is great. Cons: No place to fill water bottles when buffet was closed. The gym dispenser gives lukewarm water. Hotel is in need of major upgrades. Rooms have less than fresh smell upon entry but you get use to it. One bed's blanket had two small stains on the corner like old blood. Pillow case had brown spots on it and some towels were flat out dirty. Pool was closed during entire stay. Minimal parking spots on weekend. Random fire alarm one night that had everyone outside with the kids in pajamas for quite a while. Only one working elevator so mornings were quite the wait. Bathroom had loads of old stains on tiles and tub and baseboards were a wreck. My husband showered with shoes on. We went to visit the theme parks so we spent minimal time in the room. We did appreciate the extra space for a party of 5. Everyone had their own space and the sofa was large enough to not even need to pull the bed out. Plenty of outlets but again, the place could really use some upgrades.

My stay at the hotel was exceptionally pleasant due to its kind staff and convenience. The room was clean and provided a comfortable environment allowing for a peaceful night's sleep without any disturbances. Additionally, the hotel's location made it incredibly convenient to get to local attractions, and a variety of dining options within walking distance. Overall, the hotel provided a perfect blend of comfort and practicality, making my family’s stay very enjoyable.

Good location, a lot of food options nearby, very nice staff, hotel needs updating, tub/shower a bit out dated, small sink area. Our TV was between couch area and bedroom and a bit difficult to see from bed. Very clean room. Comfortable bed but pillows not so good. Breakfast buffet had good selection and they provide complimentary 8oz sodas and ice creams 24 hrs. We have stayed in many Williamsburg hotels and this one was above average. Would recommend for family.

We saw a cockroach at breakfast, it was crawling until the breakfast cabinet. Then we went to our room and there was a baby cockroach in our room. We enjoyed our stay up until that point. We left shortly after that.

Stayed 4 nights for a Busch Gardens trip. Great location. Spacious room for large family. Breakfast was delicious, different options available. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Will stay again for next years Busch Gardens trip.

Nice stay for my entire family of five in a single suite. Great location around a ton of restaurant options, smack-dab in the middle of all the attractions of Williamsburg.

When we arrived, the room we were given hadn’t been cleaned. Even though we were given another similar room, it left us feeling grossed out. The front desk person was super nice though and handled it well. Then when we went to the second room the door was sitting open. The whole thing was weird. Later when I asked for some extra pillows the front desk lady said “you’ll have to come get them, I’m by myself tonight”. I felt bad for her, this hotel is obviously understaffed. And while it’s clearly been remodeled, some things are just missing, like a fan in the bathroom, or a light switch for lamps across the room. Again the staff was nice (and my kids loved the eggs at breakfast!), but with 3 or 4 hotels on that same block, I don’t think we’ll be back.

The staff was super nice, the hotel was very clean and the breakfast in the mornings was good. I also liked that coffee, tea, and water was available the whole time. My kids also liked the popcorn at check in.

Easy check in, clean room, plenty of space in the room for my large family. Could have used another chair but we made do. Indoor pool was open but hot tub was not. Pool wasn't as warm as most indoor pools usually are. It was 85°. Free breakfast was delicious. We got there late one day and wasn't a huge selection but still tasted good. Several restaurants within a 2 block radius, easy to walk to. Will definitely stay here again.
