Embassy Suites Williamsburg

My family of 4( 2 adults and 2 children); along with our family pet (Goldendoodle) had plenty of room for our 4 night stay. The staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. The dining staff/cooks were absolutely wonderful. We look forward to staying again the next time we are in Williamsburg.

From the moment I entered the staff was extremely kind , pleasant and friendly. That made our stay in Virginia even more enjoyable. The indoor pool was clean and warm which our kids enjoyed . Bush Gardens is just 15 minutes away from the property which is a plus . Last but not least the daily breakfast was hot and delicious . Will definitely choose to stay here in our next trip to VA.

Excellent all suites accommodation. Onsite bar/restaurant and the free breakfast made this a great choice for our family of 5. Also traveling with a pet so the pet friendly accommodations were a plus for us.

I just want you to know ,that steve at the front desk was awsome 👌 He made us feel like family. You all have a great employee lucky to have him ,everyone at your Hotel was great and friendly 👍 we will see you again next year .

From the second we checked in the service by the staff was excellent. Very accommodating for our family. The evening reception and breakfast was fantastic. The cooks and servers along with the nice lady cleaning the tables made it so easy for us to enjoy ourselves.

This property is old - desperately in need to renovations. Our room was repulsively gross - hair all over the bathroom. Pubic hair. The pull out couch mattress was filthy. We were not able to use the pull up out couch because of the filth. Also, the noise in the lobby was awful. There was a family reunion and folks were yelling well into 11pm with no staff asking them to quiet down. I do not recommend this property

Great for families and excellent location.

The bathroom lighting was terrible, too dim at the mirror, and the air conditioning was unusually noisy. That said, the sound proofing around the room was excellent and the bed comfortable. Fun pool for the kids and very convenient location for seeing the sights.

Embassy Suites as a whole used to be a better hotel, and this one is an example of that decrease. The open layout of the rooms meant you could hear all the hallway noise on every floor, which included kids running the halls at 11 pm. The hotel was packed with tourists and there was one working elevator for the entire building, staff included. After a long day of walking at an amusement park, the last thing we wanted to do was wait 10 minutes for an elevator or walk up 5 flights of stairs. The free breakfast, which offered a large variety of food, was mediocre, with rubbery pancakes and what tasted like powdered eggs. For over $200/night, I expect more quality even if that means fewer amenities.

Breakfast was good except for one day when the scrambled eggs were floating in liquid. And we also wish the breakfast went later then 9:30 so we could sleep in a little on our vacation. The only other issue we had was when we were at the pool one night and it was about time for the pool to close (the clock at the pool was off by a couple of hours but we knew it was getting close to closing time ) and the employee came in and didn’t say a word but just turned all of the lights off and stood there in the control room on his phone. There were at least 10 people in the pool, including children, two of which were my own ages 3&4. I did NOT appreciate that at all, and my youngest was crying because she was in the pool and then the lights went out and she was scared. That to me was very inappropriate and not safe at all! Other than that we enjoyed our stay and all of the other staff members were absolutely amazing!
