I came to celebrate my birthday! I ordered the birthday package and that was awesome, except for the champagne, cause I don’t drink.once we were moved from 411 to 1214, everything in our room was awesome! The kids running up and down the hall til 2 in the morning screaming was hell! I’m going somewhere else to get some sleep!😜😂😂😂

I recently stayed at The San Luis for a week with my family, and we had a mixed experience. Positives: • Kids’ Activities and Pool: My kids absolutely loved the pool and the various hotel activities designed for children. It was a joy to see them so entertained and engaged throughout our stay. • Dining Experience: The restaurants at the hotel were exceptional. We dined at all three during our stay, and each offered a unique and delightful culinary experience. The service was consistently attentive and the food was outstanding. Negatives: • Poolside Service: Unfortunately, the service by the pool was a major letdown. The waitresses in the pool area never approached us to ask if we needed drinks, food, or anything else. This lack of attentiveness significantly impacted our overall experience and left us feeling disappointed. In conclusion, while The San Luis has many great features, especially for families, the poor poolside service marred an otherwise pleasant stay. With improvements in this area, it could be a fantastic vacation spot.

Very nice and high end property. Easy access to the beach and nice pool. Food on property is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. Every meal we had on property was excellent. This property is excellent for kids as well. They offer multiple kids activities throughout the day and a fun movie night outside every night.

We had a fantastic time! We chose this hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Tim, at the front desk, arranged the romance package for us, and the package did not disappoint. Our room was beautifully decorated with a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. It also included room service for breakfast. Every room has a balcony and a view of the ocean. Higher floors have better views, of course. We loved the swim up bar. We loved being on the 10th floor, where no children are allowed. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful, including Van, who got us checked in.

As always we loved our stay. This time we brought our grandkids for the first time and luckily they had several events for kids. The only thing I would bring up is the AC in room 411. I didn’t bring it up during our stay because it wasn’t that big a deal but it was a little humid in the room and never got below 72 even though we had the blackout curtains closed and the thermostat was set to 68 even before we got there. I’m not sure if it was the main door or the door to the balcony but there was definitely some humidity coming into the room. Otherwise the staff was super attentive and everything else was awesome. We have stayed their several times now and we always enjoy our stay.

The St Luis is a very pretty hotel and perfect ly located. There were two things we encountered that were negatives for the stay. The first was the "above counter" sink In the bathroom. This type sink is not very functional and certainly seems cheap. The other negative was the noise prevention insulation. We often heard a baby crying and other noises from an adjoining room.

Decided to stay on the Island and booked last minute. The hotel is already a landmark. The best was the staff, super nice and accommodating at all levels as well as the spectacular view (sunrise was a show). Amenities are good but on the boring side if you are young. Especially if they are hosting a wedding there is not even music at the pool area. I got nervous and left the pool area because there was a disabled old guy carelessly riding a scooter around and being rude to people, his body was covered in sores and it was not a good sight at the pool area. There is no club or place to have fun inside of the facilities or any good ones on the Island. Compared with other beach resort destinations this is a strict family with kids and senior citizens destination. The government fees are around $38.00 per night, justified if you notice the security, the niceness of the officers, and some improvements in the Island, however, more is needed and there should be a toll to enter the main tourist areas. Overall the goal was accomplished, nice tan and relaxation!!!
