Room could have been cleaned better but this is fun hotel. Near public transport. I think great for families. Have lots of games / activities available. Continental breakfast minimal.

Simply put...awful. From the front desk service to the breakfast, details, parking... Sign up front said $35 overnight parking, prepare to pay $40 because according to the bitter front desk employee, she stated that "management was too cheap to replace it even though there have been numerous complaints". We were told that if we parked outside instead of the garage it was at our own risk. I could understand since it was surrounded by homeless and prostitutes, literally in front of the hotel. The room smelled like an ashtray, ended up putting us in an accessible room because they couldn't accommodate our family of 4. They offered to put us in 2 separate, non-adjoining rooms, but that was not going to work since we have children. There was no space to get in and out of the bed on one side since 2 beds were crammed against walls. The breakfast consisted of cold, very hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, milk, bagels/bread, Pop Tarts, coffee. In the evening during s'mores, they ran out of chocolate. It would have been very easy for management to go down the street and buy chocolate bars, but they couldn't do that even though multiple people were asking. This hotel has potential, the concept is "neat" since you can use skateboards & sporting equipment, etc, but it is failing miserably.

This was my sons first vacation by himself and I was so nervous as a parent. He and his friend stayed for a week and couldn't stop talking about how nice and helpful the staff were, the amenities, and how much they loved the hotel. Huge thanks to the Hotel Zags and their staff for making me feel good about my child being in another state and for making them feel comfortable and welcome
