My family and I felt very comfortable and safe, very friendly staff, room was very nice we enjoyed the fact that it had a balcony. Valet parking was one of the option which we chose due to arriving late. We will stay @ the paramount hotel again.

We arrived on June 1. There was a parade downtown and a Timbers game while we were scheduled to arrive. The Hotel did email us that traffic might be challenging. The entire square mile around the hotel was blocked off and we had to take all our luggage and our toddlers through some rough downtown streets. They needed to provide a best point of arrival for guests. That night the parade was ongoing through midnight, which the hotel did not provide times. All that said, it was a great stay. They have a great restaurant in the hotel and the specialty coffee machine felt like a unique amenity. Room was solid and beds were good. If you need to stay downtown then it's a good option but better to stay away from downtown and avoid the chaos a bit in my opinion.

The property itself is a little antiquated, but the room was great. The carpet was a bit of a turn off, brown is never a good color for carpet but at least it was clean. The room smelled clean, the bed …..i slept like a baby. It was wonderful. The bathroom was clean and I would definitely stay again.

Excellent choice for my family’s brief stay. Well located, easy access to Pioneer Place and downtown, and a quick walk to the tri met. Clean, pleasant room got a good nights sleep. Plus, a decent price. All in all, just a very good stay.

First visit and was very nice. Much better than most mid-priced hotels we’ve stayed in. Was quiet and relatively free of noise, despite being located centrally downtown. Hotel provided was too expensive — luckily we had family that lived only minutes away, so we parked at their house and they shuttled us to the hotel in the evening. Bed-sheet was put on incorrectly, with the tag (located along the middle-edge, not the corner as usual) at the top headboard rather than foot of the bed. So was a bit annoying to have the tag in my face all night. Not the end of the world, but little things do matter. Bathroom nice and large. Disappointed that the only bottled water was in vending machines on alternate floors — or a dispenser in the lobby. For the price, would have anticipated at least a couple of bottles in-room. A/C worked well, but quite noisy. But property and room was very clean and in better-than-most condition. Easy check-in and check-out. Would definitely stay again on next trip to Portland.

Love this hotel! Walking distance to everything you could need. There are a few things you need to know. No on-site parking. You will have to park in a parking garage up the street and it’s $20 overnight. Closes at 11:00 PM so no arriving or leaving after that time. We were in 7:00 PM every night due to the area. STAY off 6th street! Would have been nice to have a pool at the hotel since we had kids and they still had energy.

Absolutely perfect. Stressful visit to Portland for close family member’s surgery. The Paramount Hotel saved the day! Uber-secure, beautifully appointed, very reasonably priced. Superior, helpful, happy staff. Many nice amenities. Delicious bath-tub & shower!! Super clean throughout. We will certainly return in happier times! Highly recommended! 🌟🏆🌟🏆🌟

Was great location with easy to access public transportation, in downtown. Also, very kind staffs with warm welcomed. Additionally, there is disposable and individual ear phone in gym for people. That was so cosidered for customer. However, one thing i didnt like was entrance door, which is not working well, hard to open.. Thank you generally... Enjoyable stay. This time .. I will be there again with my family..
