We always stay here when we come to visit family. Nice, clean and affordable

Took me and my children and the first night was great. We left for a bit came back to my door being unlocked and the metal piece on the door that the latch goes into was completely gone. Went to the front and told them about it and told her it was really weird and I did not feel safe with it being just me and my kids it looked suspicious considering my door worked just fine the night before. I was told that I could get a refund for the second night and then she was unable to do it. I asked her to call her manager since she couldn’t do it. She did and he wanted her to show him the room, after she done that she informed me it was my fault the door wasn’t closed and I will not be getting a refund. She said the reasoning was that I did not pull my door shut when I left and it was my responsibility. I did check my door before I left. I was also not the last person in my room, it was housekeeping. I would think twice if your a women with kids and going alone. My gut feeling was something suspicious was going on and I am glad I left with my kids.

This is our 3rd time staying here. The 1st time was last year, visiting family & stayed for a few days. We dealt with Kristy(?) She was pleasant & helpful! We drove thru & stopped her 2 weeks ago-the clerk was not very friendly. The biscuits (for biscuits & gravy) were dry & hard as rocks! Desk clerk could care less! Checked in last evening around 6pm. There was nobody around & parking lot was pretty empty-we checked in, signed in, the clerk said our room was on the 2nd floor, I asked if something was available on the 1st floor. The clerk snapped "Why didn't you ask before I printed out the receipt-you should have told me!!" We've stayed her 2x before, were given rooms on the 1st, so we didn't realize we had to specify a floor! We didn't realize changing a room # & resetting the key card was such a problem to warrant her attitude! So, since we had 2 bad experiences-in less than 3 weeks-we'll use the Holiday Inn Express! Again, Kristy (Christy) was the only employee, in 3 visits, was the only nice & helpful employee!

I liked that it is convenient and easy parking. I did not like that the children who live there are permitted to race up and down the hallways late into the evening and then early in the morning. They have no where to play so the hallways are noisy making it hard to sleep. Additionally, our room had ants really bad. I ended up waking up to ants in my bed, on the wall, on my nightstand etc

The breakfast was very underwhelming. In addition, the hot tub was lukewarm at best. Also, unable to connect a gaming console to the tv to allow kids to play games.

We ended up extending our stay for a night, so we stayed 3 nights total. Super friendly employees, the pool was always clean and was open good hours (7am-10pm*for kids and 12am for adults) the bed was pretty firm but not bad, microwavable sausage egg and cheese biscuits, biscuits and gravy, or pancakes were yhe hot breakfast options, there was also muffins. The trains were loud and go by quite a bit, but they offer earplugs if it keeps you up or you want some. Overall loved my stay. Would definitely stay again.

I stay here a few times a year when visiting family. The breakfast options were the same, except the quality has downgraded. Cheaper peanut butter, for example. Biscuits were hard, gravy luke warm. Room was nice, shower excellent.

Stay here every time I go to Republic to visit family , location is perfect , right price and service has always been good.

Very friendly staff, Respectful, courteous, rare these days in the last few hotel stays we have had in other places. We appreciate how well they took care of us. The property was very clean, well kept, pool and hot tub very clean and kids enjoyed greatly! On another note!! the pool area is handicapped accessible with lifts for the pool and hot tub! a great asset for many.

Great and quick stay, always stay here when we see family in Republic and Springfield. Would have rated better if breakfast was better, ie the toaster didn't do anything but warm bread, and the lobby furniture desperately needs to be thrown out/updated. Other than that, room and service is great & family friendly. Thank you!
