Super 8 by Wyndham Bolivar

Upon arriving the lady at the front desk hardly said a word. No hello, can I help you or anything that made me feel very welcome. Just wanted our last name. The carpet in the whole place needs to be replaced. Very worn and dirty. The walls could use some paint to liven the place up. It seemed so dark down the halls. The room smelled like musk. It needed aired out. Only one pack of coffee which was not replaced so had to go to the desk to get some. There was no room service the next morning to make up the bed, replace towels and wash cloths, empty trash and we was not told we needed to ask for this service. The first night there we had kids above us that ran in the room until 10 pm, thank goodness. The breakfast the next morning only consisted of cereal, waffles and breakfast sandwiches you heated in the microwave. Some bananas and sweet cakes. Yogurt but nothing for protein for those that is diabetic like boiled eggs. I can say there was plenty of coffee and it was good and hot. It’s a good hotel and it has potential to be a great hotel with just a few minor adjustments.

When we checked in we were given keys to our room and my teen daughter went to the room and a man was in the bed. The hotel had out a man in our room and then given us the same keys. The only room left was a single bed room and two of my kids had to sleep on the dirty floor and they had no extra blankets and only one extra pillow. The room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking facility. There was a bottle cap under my covers when I started to get into bed.
