Holiday Inn Express & Suites Springfield North, an IHG Hotel

Everything is so good. Highly recommend for families.

Both people we spoke to at the desk weren’t kind but that we can deal with. We rented a suite with a family room, bedroom and bathroom and between the three spaces there was ONE trashcan. There is NO light in the living area. The head of the shower was broken. The bathroom is the smallest we’ve had in a hotel. The shower pressure was awful and fluctuated when the neighbor flushed their toilet or turned on water. The bar in the shower was so poorly placed I smacked my elbow multiple times just trying to shower. The shampoo smelled AWFUL. The entire floor and our room smelled musky like towels had been wet for days everywhere. The elevator barely worked. The button wouldn’t light up and had to wait a looong time to even arrive. The safety lock on the door didn’t work. When we called the front desk to tell them the phone was missing half the buttons and the cord didn’t stay in the receiver they stated they would have ‘maintence look into it.’ The fridge barely stayed cold, the Keurig spit water all over. This hotel was a 0/5 for us. Absolutely awful.

Excellent hotel for travelers. It’s located away from the Main Street and its noise. Good breakfast in the morning. Great option for families.

We've stayed at this location several times over the past 2 years. It's our midway point on long drives between IL & TX. We get the 2 queen suite with the pullout bed, so our family of 5 has plenty of room to spread out. The entire room is always so clean and the beds/pillows are really comfortable. Little bonus, complimentary toiletries in the room are brand name, which is so nice. The best part of the hotel is the STAFF. We travel a lot and the service industry has been hit hard the past few years, but this hotel is doing things right! Their employees seem genuinely happy, they speak to guests, smile, and are always eager to help. The breakfast is delicious, and the breakfast seating area is always so clean too! The pool area isn't huge, but it's clean and very well maintained, a perfect place to let the kids burn some energy. The cost of this hotel is such a tremendous value for what we get. We've consistently had great stays at this location.
