Fairfield Inn By Marriott Kansas City Airport

Clean quiet friendly staff and not so mention the bed are comfortable so happy my kids are very happy to visit this hotel they love it and enjoy the pool thank you all very much ♥️

Nice and quiet, even though there was a ton of kids, my room was quiet.

My stay was not good due to noise. I checked in and left a 4 am appointment to ride the shuttle to the airport. The clerk on duty assigned me to a floor with a bunch of kids I assume. There was a dance team staying there. At 11:30 pm, I was woken up by a father and son arguing outside their room. I guess they didn't want to disturb the people in their room? Not sure their reasoning for their very loud talking outside my door. Then I finally went back to sleep and was woken up at 1:41 am again with something that sounded like pounding on the doors or ceiling. I could hear it over my white noise. I couldn't tell where it was coming from, but someone was partying. I called the front desk both times. SHe did nothing because she was alone. She couldn't just leave her desk to figure it out. Very miserable night.

Great stay. Safe. Quiet. Comfortable and very close to the airport. I had family flying into Kansas City at midnight and we needed a place near the airport before driving to a family event the next morning. The staff were friendly and we were impressed with our rooms. The breakfast included eggs and waffles and oatmeal, which was more than we expected from the price tag.

We flew into Kansas City to see Beyonce. The price and proximity to the airport was what attracted me to this hotel. The hotel was under renovation, unbeknownst to me. This did not ruin my trip, but is the reason for a lower score. My room was well kept, and the breakfast was great. What i loved most and would be the reason for my return was the kindness and friendliness of Sean, the front desk employee. We were having difficulty securing an Uber and Lyft. Sean, upon hearing our conservation, provided a local taxi company. Although we did not use his suggestion, as another hotel guest, who was attending the concert, offered to take us to and from the concert with her family. Sean's kindness and concern for 3 out of town guests warmed our hearts. Fairfield Inn, you have an amazing person as an employee. Best regards!

The hotel is under renovations and had just launched 24/7 airport shuttles. We arrived at MCI at 3:30am and called the hotel front desk. Unfortunately, no one was staffing the front desk. After a half hour of trying (and not being able to get a taxi, shared ride or shuttle to the hotel), we were beneficiaries of the kindness of another hotel shuttle which took us to the Fairfield. Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk. After waiting for 15 minutes for support, I took matters into my own hands and found my room key behind the front desk. At this point I was able to provide access for my two kids and me to our hotel room (at 4:10am). The hotel was very apologetic and agreed that this shouldn't have happened and they compensated me appropriately for the error.

I enjoyed the trip over all except the walls are paper thin I had my 3 year old daughter with me and the neighbors were sooo loud at 11p-12am I had to call front desk to ask them to keep it down on the first night the second night was better but the new neighbors had a baby and it’s crying woke up my child in the middle of the night I understand it’s a hotel but I’ve stayed at other hotels and never had the walls be that thin to where I could hear every conversation had next door!!
