First the positives, the owners have clearly spent significant time and money creating a BEAUTIFUL lobby, breakfast area, hallways and (for the most part) the guestrooms. Everything is kept VERY clean. The guestroom bathrooms still need some love . The guestroom walls and the towels are equally as thin. The room next to mine seemed to be occupied by children and. a couple adult women 24 hours a day, crying, hollering, screeching - have no clue what was happening there but they were pretty quiet after 10pm, thank goodness. Another evening half of our floor got to enjoy a contact high from the pot being smoked in one of the rooms. I know it's legal in Illinois now but NO SMOKING means no smoking pot too - right? Thankfully the windows actually opened for some fresh air. Unfortunately there was rarely staffing at the front desk, so there was no one with which to make a complaint. Maybe someone needs to do a walkabout of the floors to see what's happening in the hotel. There were often people lingering outside for long periods of time. It was unclear if they were staff or guests waiting for rides, it was odd. Nice but could be better.

Hotel is okay, a little bit overpriced for what it offers. I took it because I wanted two queen beds to have more comfort for my family, but the beds were small, not queen size at all. Breakfast is okay, simple but good. There was no bottle water for selling. All the vending machines were out of them.

My boyfriend and I stood here for just a night just to get away from home. For 1.) as soon as we entered the hotel, there was nobody at the front desk for at least 5 minutes. 2.) once we got to our rooms, we were interrupted and woke up to knocks to the door. Apparently my boyfriend’s alarm was going off and he was asked to go out to the car. No problem. He went out and turned off the alarm and checked the car, then came back in. An hour later we were woken up AGAIN this time to POUNDING on the door. We were scared something happened and the police were at the door. Instead, it was the “manager” who started screaming at my boyfriend loud enough for other’s to come out of their rooms about the alarm going off again. He screamed that we will be kicked out and “didn’t even attempt” to turn the car off. We DID. He was some tall, slim balding white man. Completely disgusting and unprofessional. We are adults, NOT children. 3.) The bathtub was stained black and the door was jammed and doesn’t lock. And 4.) majority of the lamps in the room didn’t work except 2. Horrible hotel, horrible customer service, and even worse staff. At least it was moderately clean and nice for the price/area. There was also a decent amount of parking and a Dunkin nearby, but that’s the only plus there is.

I'm surprised this is a part of the Wyndham family. This property definitely needs a lot of TLC as it is very old and tired looking. Housekeeping is below average.. it's a good thing that I brought my own bleach cleaner because the entire room needed attention. Door handles, thermostat, surfaces, light switches, etc. While the bed was very comfortable, again I'm surprised this is Wyndham because the bed was made sloppily and just didn't look like details were paid attention to. There's also a lot of construction/remodeling being done in the breakfast area, which in my opinion the rooms need to be done ASAP. Speaking of breakfast.. it was served in a tiny room which was not ideal when there were two or more people in there.. egg discs, sausage discs, bagels, bread, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, apple&orange juices were available and only ONE waffle maker! Imagine several people just standing around waiting for that damn waffle maker?? Hard pass, especially at 6:30am when some people just rolled outta bed. Of course coffee and tea were available as well. Boy oh boy did those fake egg discs freak me out. Anyways, I slept very well and very comfortable, property is nice and quiet and safe. Would I stay here again? Yeah, I probably would because the price was perfect and I did have a peaceful time. I just really wish they'd pay attention to their property because it seriously needs a revamp.

The common area and dining facility was attractive but the rest of hotel was bad. We were in a handicap room which was old, dingy and poorly maintained. Shower handheld head keep falling and difficult for my wife and inconvenient for me. Very noisy with guest children in other rooms and in the hall. I would not recommend for Expedia visitors.

The staff was friendly and helpful - at front desk and breakfast room. We were disappointed that the property wasn't in good shape. Our family rented 3 rooms. To name a few things: Only one of us had a door whose handle and/or lock didn't work right. Some tables were unsteady. The rugs were worn and in one room a large piece missing. One bathtub drain didn't work. Door edges were cracked. One door's 'spyvglass ' holes were instead stuffed with a piece of paper. Also only amenities were a single small bottle of shampoo/conditioner combined, and a bar of soap that barely created any suds.

We came to visit family in Chicago during the 4th of July Weekend. We stayed here before on such visits. It was quiet all 3 nights we stayed here and that has been the norm foe previous visits. Rooms/beds are comfortable. They have breakfast in the morning. No pool but it's usually priced competitively as a result.

Checked in an everything looked OK. Moved a night stand to plug in my phone charger and there was tons of trash behind it. Around midnight the people next to us started having extremely loud sex...didn't last long but then they were yelling for around 2 hours. They they turned the TV on very loud. I talked to management and it stopped for a bit then we were woken up again to the noise. I said something to management again in the morning and I was basically told it was my fault for not telling then again. It was around 4am when it started again and we had to be up at 5 to get ready to leave. What was the point? Glad my family got no rest before my kids jiu-jitsu tournament. DO NOT STAY HERE!
