Marriott Chicago Schaumburg

I love this hotel, always presentable and friendly. Although I was a bit annoyed at how noisey it was due to so many kids. Running and yelling going down the halls, you had kids playing around in the elevators. I hope next time the hotel is more strict about quiet time when it comes to situations where there will be so many kids.

where do I start? lets go with check in. when I arrived to the property i wasn't greeted properly at all. I said hello I' here to check in and the front desk didn't greet me or even say hello. She said what' your last name can i see your id and debit card. she then asked if i needed a single or double beds i said i have the kids with me i need two beds. Shen then asked me did i have a preference on the floor i implied it didn't matter as long as i have two beds. she then told me to put my debit card in machine for incidentals. I then received a notification from my bank stating i was changed 458.72 so that's when i was confused. I then asked why am i being change so much when I paid for the room already. After doing research they noticed the made a mistake and refunded my funds(its going to take 5-7 business days). I then proceeded to the room just to take one foot in the door to notice it was a room with only one bed. Now I' getting really frustrated because i told her multiple times i needed two beds. I proceed to go downstairs to left her know she gave me one bed room. She didn't apologize she didn't say anything but asked the key fixed it and gave the key back without apologizing again. All of this before even starting the stay is outrageous. Next we get settled into our room and later head down to the pool area. we over hear other families complaining about the staff and security being rude but we were so fed up we didn't even want to engage. Very top notch hotel! The service, the fact there's a bar and restaurant in it was also very nice! Great service and great people! They made you feel like family! Had a little scare when someone pulled the fire alarm but other than that we will be back!

We have been staying at Marriott Schaumburg for a few years now. We have always had nothing but the best experience at this hotel. Everyone is nice and very helpful. All the staff is the same regardless of their job title. This last stay rose my expectations of this hotel. Jose Fitzpatrick checked us in and noticed we always stay here. He treated us like family. He noticed I forgot to add breakfast to our stay so he had added it for us at no charge. He encouraged us to use our Marriott rewards. At the end of the trip, I had a billing issue and one phone call to him he resolved it quickly. This has been by far the best experience with Marriott Schaumburg. We will continue to stay at this location.

Large pool for the kids, clean, updated and modern rooms. Will come again.

Great location for my family while traveling to O'Hare Airport

Overall its a clean great hotel possibly with a lot of foreigners because i saw some flight attendance crews. Everything was good except for the fact that the buffet workers chased me down demanding for my buffet passes ($8) .. LOL. Pathetic. Then a dark skinny somewhat self sexy Indian woman was walking out the revolving door when she saw that I was wearing a mask and Asian like her as claimed UKs prime Minister, looked at me and scared away. LOL. No i had nothing to do with the covid. And i was in America and she was probably bent over. Decent didn't get to visit the swimming pool for my kids the main reason i picked it over the Renaissance.
