The room was passable, but the neighborhood was hideous. I live in LA. I’ve worked in LA, Compton, Long Beach and Inglewood courthouses and I was uncomfortable. That’s saying a lot. There were homeless persons with needles still sticking out of their veins. I would NOT bring my children there.

Our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express near LAX was good. Enjoyed the view and kids were excited seeing the landing and take off at the airport. The staff is really great, and friendly; plus the breakfast options were nice.

This Holiday Inn was nice- looks like it was recently updated. The staff were friendly and helpful. I appreciated the shuttle service to the airport, which allowed our family to check in at 5 AM. Their shuttles leave ever 30 minutes, which is super nice. On my way to the hotel, I dropped off my rental car at Enterprise at 9:15 and they picked me up "off route". Overall, I would recommend staying here. Too bad I didn't get to try the breakfast. I think that starts at 6 am.

Pros: Friendly and attentive staff, free parking Cons: Small rooms/beds, same breakfast EVERY morning (undercooked sausage), dirty carpet, slow elevators, pool area dirty and unsafe (a young man and women off the streets were trying to get me to unlock the door while I was swimming with my kids, when I refused, he began to attempt to climb over the gate, until one of the workers saw him), salty pool water, neighborhood was very sketchy with lots of homeless people around. Definitely not worth $300 a night.

Enjoyed the breakfast. My family was able to have one hot meal and we were able to start a journey. Each room had a microwave, coffee pot and refrigerator. For a first trip to LA was a great one. Fully recommend

Nice, Quiet, clean and friendly Swimming pool too small very busy with kids, but I could deal with that.
