Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights as a family of 3. Great location on the Quayside, 10/15mins from the centre and 5mins to bars/restaurants on Quayside. We had a suite room which has a great view of the Tyne River, the room itself was huge, but dated. The over bath shower is horrendous to use if your taller than 5foot and another big bug bear of mine was no plug sockets near the bed. There was no windows, there is no aircon and the room gets quite stuffy on a night, there is also 2 train lines nearby which you can hear from the room from early hours of the morning. The staff were great, parking was easy at £10 per 24hours. 6/10 I’d rate it.
