Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku

Staff was excellent, location close to the subway, convenient stores & shopping near by, rooms were clean and AC was outstanding for mid June! Our family of 4 stayed comfortably (12 & 16 yr olds & parents).

I love the location - very close to the metro station that brings you to the heart of Tokyo. There are also family mart and 7-11 nearby, great for grabbing snacks and drinks. The hotel room always smells nice which is awesome. The only downside is the size of the room. 2 people is abit cramped especially with luggages

I put 4⭐️S under property condition is because the place is a bit dated. Other than that, I love their free bfast buffet that includes with your stay. Friendly staff, very close to the Manorouchi Line, 7-11, Macdonald’s. Staffs are very helpful, they’re willing to make a local phone call on your behalf when it comes to restaurants that needs reservations. I’d definitely stay here again with my family. Four of us in the family stayed here.

2 kids 2 adults in the room made for a bit of a squeeze, but there was a spacious bathroom. The staff are great, rooms are clean, 10 minute walk to Shinjuku station… great place to stay.

My family stayed here for 4 nights. Loved it!!! Property is conveniently located few minutes walk to the train station, convenience stores and restaurants. Also just one station train ride to the shopping malls. Staff are very helpful. On our last day there, there was an earthquake early morning and the elevator had to be stopped for maintenance before it can be used again. We had 3 50 lbs luggages, and the hotel staff helped us bring them down from the 9th floor. Thank you so much! It is very much appreciated!

Hotel Rose Garden Shinjuku is a really great economic option for a stay in Tokyo, suitable for families. The location is off the mayhem of Shinjuku, but has great walking access to the local sights, trains (a 3-4 minutes to Red M and 10-15 minutes to Shinjuku proper) and solid local food and bar options for our family with two children 7 and 9 in the neighboring streets. The hotel has a good local vibe, very Japanese in terms of guests which we like. The room was super clean and small as expected. Excellent large bathrooms. The service functional and polite, decent English (not expected). The inclusive breakfast solid with Western and Japanese buffet options. My only issue and failure on awarding 5 stars was the pillows that were paper thin and gave me neck issues. I asked reception for an additional pillow and was told the hotel did not have any? I would come back for sure, but would bring my own pillow!
