Hilton Garden Inn Kitchener/Cambridge

We book a room for 5 and there was only one bed and one sofa. Not sure were the 5th person was supposed to sleep. We finally had to get a cot for one of our kids. We travelled all day and this should not happen

Very friendly staff, only suggestions would be to put a limit of time for kids using the pool so adults can have quiet time. I was there at 9:30 and had trouble moving as it was full of rowdy kids jumping around me with 3 adults ‘supervising/ignoring’). I love kids but this was mayhem. Also please offer vegan options at the restaurant, as I had to go out to get food. Finally I was charged for the breakfast and thought it was included. I had oatmeal and fruit but would be nice to at least have vegan butter and milk options. Thank you

The kids enjoyed the pool

I liked that this hotel didn’t used heavily fragrant room deodorizer. Other hotels in the area use them excessively. The was clean and a nice size for the grandkids.

I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Had a bit of an issue with loud kids but hey it was tournament weekend. Kids will be kids.

More like a Motel 6! No lobby coffee at 6:15am and told “they would bring it out when there ready hmmmm at 7am still no coffee. No ice bucket and when requested staff delivers without a door knock she simply walked into the room. Slippery shower and only two paper cups…. Nothing Else! Pool has only 4-5 chairs with little room for parents to watch children. Ownership needs training!!

the lobby restaurant was very convenient for having kids with us. liked that the flooring in the room was not carpet

I called about 1.5 months ahead to ask for early check in for 2pm, check in is 3pm. I called the day before to confirm my early check in. I was attending a wedding, where the wedding was using this hotel for all guest stays. I was coming from Barrie and needed to get ready before the wedding. My check in was not ready at 2pm. I had use a family members room to get ready, where their room was ready for early check in. By the time I left the hotel at 3:30 for the wedding, my room was still not available. I checked into my room at 12:30am and it was the worst room right next to the elevator. I paid over $150 for that room and service which was far from convenient, bad location in the hotel and no one volunteered a free breakfast or discount on my stay. I was not impressed.
