Staybridge Suites West Edmonton, an IHG Hotel

We have been staying here for family trips for a few years now. The suites are great, with actual bedroom doors, a practical kitchenette and a bar-table to eat at. The staff are always great, breakfast is fine (although a little crowded if you don't go early), the pool is fun and the location is perfect.

We stayed in the one bedroom suite with kitchen! Loved it! Cooked both nights we stayed, was great! Sofabed for our kid and king size bed for us.

Great hotel, service, and breakfast. Only complaint was I heard several different groups of children complain that there wasn’t cold cereal. On my last day there it was out on the counter though.

I had my reservation booked couple months before my travel, I have been traveling in the mountains so I have no cellular connection, then the day of my reservation, I called the hotel to let them know I will be checking in late as I am still travelling but they informed me that they had cancel my reservation the day before my check in as they tried to reach me but couldn't and just left a voicemail that they need to get an updated credit card info. As I've said, I was in the mountains and no connectivity at all. They sold the rooms i booked to others so they weren't able to re book me a room. I was scheduled to be in the city past midnight of the supposed check in date, If I didn't call, I would not have known that they cancelled my reservation, and I won't have 2 rooms for my family at midnight. Super disappointed.

Good for families

I liked our stay here. Good service. Delicious breakfast and they even have brunch Monday Tuesday and Wednesday. Very good for family a lot of space in the room.microwave, fride, stove dishwasher machine. I will definitely return

My family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights but the whole time we were here, all we did as ask for the maintenance to fix our clogged toilet. We booked this hotel because of the proximity to the mall. It was a 10-minute drive. It was supposed to be a quick getaway of our family from all the stresses of life but turned to be a not very good mini vacation. The room we were given is spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable even the sofa bed was comfortable. The kitchenette was just alright but missing a few basic things which was okay. If there's anything we need, we just call the front desk and they are very prompt to our request. My biggest incovenience in this whole trip is the clogged toilet in our room which they can't seem to fix. It started the first night we were there and it just went on until our check out date. We even tried using very little toilet paper to avoid our toilet clogging again but it happens every 3-4 use. It was so incovenient having to call maintenance to fix it. Reception said they cannot move us to another room as they are fully booked, but even to their sister hotels, they cannot move us. We are IHG members so I was truly disappointed with this experience. I wont book another IHG hotel anymore because of this experience. I cannot recommend this hotel to my friends and family either unfortunately.

This hotel is awesome.very family friendly . I like the separated rooms that give more privacy . The nice kitchen has stove, large fridge and dishwasher. There is also shared free laundry room. Especially, the breakfast is great, quality and tasty food. The minor drawback is that the air conditioner is a bit noisy.
