Holiday Inn Express Princeton, an IHG Hotel

Horrible stay with my family. Went to shower in the morning and the shower head fell off and the bath tub had a bunch of mold all around the sealant. Someone also set the room alarm for 6am and woke up the whole room.

If i could give a negative review I would. We walked in and the place reeked of weed. I support cannabis both recreational and medical, but there's a time and place for everything. We asked for a local favorite restaurant recommendation for dinner. The receptionist acted like she couldn't be bothered. We ate dinner , then decided we would take our child down to the pool for a swim. We werent there for 10 minutes when a man comes in by himself. Sits all of his stuff down. Gets in the hot tub, with his cell phone, and it looks like he starts taking pictures of our kid. We immediately get out of the pool and i send my family to the room. I tell the receptionist about him. And she blows it off like its nothing, and says she'll make a report, and that he stays here often. Ill be speaking with management in the morning.

As of 12/2023, hotel is under construction. Pool is closed (disappointing to my kids) which wasn't mentioned at booking, were open paint cans in stairwell,and they also charge a $44 fee for pets (also wasn't listed during booking). Claimed to have a rollaway bed available for free use, but when asked for one was told is only for "suites." We had a very loud buzzing in hallway all night that could hear in room. Breakfast pretty good and areas where reno was complete were nice. Staff was nice, but couldn't do much to help. Disappointed that hotels.com doesn't have all current info on the hotel. Holiday inn claims they don't control "third party" Info, which I have a hard time believing they can enforce better accuracy. Probably won't stay again just bc not worth the risk, but might be a great place after reno.

I booked this hotel during a long travel with family. After 5h in the car the kids were really looking forward to going in the hot tub, which is advertised here. However when we arrived both the hot tub and pool were closed for renovation. If I knew of it by the time of the booking I would have chosen a different hotel.

Front desk staff were kind and helpful with any questions and requests my family had. I appreciate a person being attentive and ready to assist my family. The breakfast area was well stocked and attended to.

Overprised, all the reviews call it exceptional, which is far from being the truth. It was not clean, all the floors were wet from kids running from and out of the pool. It was partially renovated, surrounding are sketchy
