Tru by Hilton Wytheville

I absolutely LOVED this hotel. It deserves 10 stars. The room/hotel was very clean & everything still seemed brand new. I loved how modern everything was & the convenience of the way the room was laid out. The rolling desk was a nice touch to make room for my baby’s pack n play. The breakfast was AMAZING. Best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. So many options but the motion activated pancake maker was my favorite. Last but not least, it has a working swimming pool! Every hotel I’ve stayed at in the past year the pool is always “under construction”. But Tru’s pool was working & the water felt amazing. Would DEFINITLY recommend this hotel to anyone & would love to stay again soon.

The Tru is a clean modern facility perfect for families. Basic but fun and friendly. My only complaint would be how easily noise can be heard from the room above us (just heavy and loud walking) but it woke me at midnight and I never got back to sleep. Probably due to the floors being hardwood rather than carpet (which I much prefer because the room seems so much cleaner without old carpet). The staff were super friendly and helpful. They provided complimentary water and Smartpop at checkin. I noticed many people with dogs so I'd say it's pet friendly as well. We'd stay again on our next drive home from Florida.

Everything was great, except the people above us making so much noise was very hard to fall asleep with my babies.

Great stay great for family

The staff was very welcoming and friendly! Rooms were clean as well as everything else. Breakfast was well stocked and lots of choices. And loved the pool table and games available for families!

Single mom traveled with my 3 kids. The room was clean and spacious. The furniture is not bulky so more room to move around. Bathroom was nice with a stand up shower. We stayed on the 4th floor facing traffic. I thought it would be loud and keep me up, but it didn’t. Breakfast was ok. The kids enjoyed it. The only negative thing was the pool was closed due to maintenance, but we did get to go swim at the Hampton inn next door. I would definitely stay there again. All The staff members were very nice and welcoming.

Great place to stop on our way home. Clean, up dated . Pool table and games in the lobby were nice to have something to do with kids. Great workout room.

The stay was great. We stayed at this hotel last time we went through VA and this is the hotel my family will stay at fir now on in VA. I would like to know where more tru hotels are if they are where we are traveling then i will be staying. It literally the only truly clean hotel i have ever stayed at. There isnt even dust in the shelves or trim around the room. Bathroom was very clean. I also like they have big bottles of shampoo so i can actually use the amount i need for my thick long hair. Tv worked with no problems. The only thing we had an issue with is we couldn't use one of the lamps because they put a bulb it it that wasn't a dimmer bulb and it flickered. We got up late and ate breakfast wasn't sure if i was going to have enough time to shower my little girl. I asked what time check out was and the gave us an extra hour to check out. The cleaning staff is so kind and helpful. They really made our stay even better. They made us feel very welcome. The staff that did breakfast was amazing as well. Kept everything clean and was very kind when we asked questions. Like i said this is the hotel we will be staying at. It is also afordable which i appropriate as well. Thank you Tru hotel for providing us a great place to stay.
