We had a really tough travel day and needed to find a place for my family for the night. All of the hotels in downtown Seattle were booked for a family of six. Then we came across two rooms at Hotel Andra. The hotel exceeded expectations. Hotel Andra is a five-star gem. The facility was really nice and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Ray Manoppo, the complex Director, made us feel at home which was much needed after the difficulties we experienced earlier that day. We appreciate the hospitality and kindness Mr. Manoppo and the staff at Hotel Andra showed our family.

Pros: Quaint, spacious place. Safe and great service. Very centralized, walkable to everywhere. Very steam-punkish decor and lightimg - like it a lot.
Cons: Slow elevator. No fridge for customers. Would have been nice to store left-overs and drinks if there was a fridge. I have a door that opens to another room. That room had very loud kids and customers. It was a bit challenging to rest at certain times.

Staff was nice but very incompetent. We checked in at 10am and was told our rooms were not ready and that they would text us. Gave credit cards and IDs and completed check in. No text ever came. Called once and was told rooms are not ready. We decided to go back around 3 pm and the agent said they never checked us in and asked for credit cards again and then said all of our cards are declining. Even when I showed them the charge on my card they refused to accept it. Another hour wasted just waiting for them to figure it out. Finally got the room keys and they were not the type of rooms we requested. They offered to buy us a drink from the bar but instead of crediting the room they said come down and get one of us and we will go to the bar with you. What? Are we kids? We didn’t even get the free drink because when we came down there was a shift change and they had no idea what we were promised. Very unprofessional property. I travel for work and am a diamond member at Hilton and I’ve never experienced such a horrible process.

Will be back for sure. Comfortable rooms, slept like a baby. Great restaurants, coffee shop right outside of the hotel. Short walk to Pike Market and needle . Beautiful lobby with cozy fireplace.

Too much outside noise, perhaps you need better windows? No vending machine. The only water option is in my room. One container for $7 and I have 3 family members… great location and I love the style, but your a little overpriced for what is offered. Your restaurant and bar closed at like 2pm before we even checked in. Disappointing…
P.S. your toilet seat was broken when we arrived which was a bummer to find out.

The hotel is nice. Friendly staff and beds are comfortable. However, our room was very warm. Maintance determined our AC was broken. Only thing they could offer us was another room that would only fit 2 of the 4 of us. So 2 would have to stay in hot room and 2 go to another floor. I didn’t want to split our family up. They brought 1 fan for 4 people. Very uncomfortable and we are from FL so we understand heat!

Our room was nice and comfortable. We arrived early and we’re able to check in. Everyone was very nice. We chose to only have our room cleaned once and they did a great job. Negatives. There is no room service. The carpet needed to be cleaned. No breakfast options.
We loved that we could walk to most attractions. The down side was the area. It did not feel safe, especially with a kid.

Not the best hotel for families. This hotel doesn’t have breakfast. We had to walk around to find near by pastry shops. The hotel doesn’t have a laundry unless you pay and have it ready by 9am. The parking is $45/night so, if you’re not prepared to pay for parking on a rental- please be aware.
Overall, it was okay. It was very noisy, but it was a good central location to the Seattle attractions we wanted to see on our visit.

The hotel is a very nice, well designed and clean. It is quite for a downtown hotel. The rooms are clean, well designed and comfortable. Valet parking is a nice service and the prices are comparable to other hotels in the area.
We traveled with small kids and the staff took care of us and gave us helpful advice on things to do and nice restaurants, museums and activities in and around Seattle.
Shout out to Sharon for going the extra mile! Thank you!
The one area for improvement is that the room cleaning policy is not clear. They asked that we inform the front desk if we wanted the room cleaned, we did that twice over the course of 2 days and that did not happen, they did eventually rectify the situation, but I wished they were more prompt on that and had better communication on the matter.
