This is my second time staying at this hotel. I live about two hours away and consider it a fun getaway, but this would be a lovely staycation even for Richmond families. They have a nice hotel breakfast with some hot items and they put out heavy hors d’oeuvres at night and the adults in the room get credit for two drinks each. Other things will be available for sale. You really could just stay there, maybe order in some lunch, and just enjoy the nice room and pool. Oh, make sure you go down for breakfast on weekend mornings. It makes for such great people watching! There are herds of groups that are in town for competitions or meetings and it’s a delightful chaos of coordinated outfits.

Great place to stay in Richmond. Close to shopping, restaurants, and gas stations. Would definitely recommend for a family or business trip. Awesome breakfast and dinner buffet.

This was our second time staying here. It’s just an overnight passing through stop but we loved it and decided to do it again. The pool and hot tub are great for families and the food is good!

Overall, the hotel is beautiful. My girls enjoyed the pool, however we had to get out because a group of teenage boys kept running, screaming, jumping, and cursing as loud as they could. Not the hotels fault - the parents fault (none of which were actually inside watching their children), but we wish we could have stayed and played a little longer. My only complaint is about the comfort of the beds and the pull out sofa. The pullout may have been the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on (my youngest was sleeping in the living room area on a blowup toddler bed and was hiving trouble sleeping - so I slept in there with her). My husband wasn’t a fan of the regular bed either, but he agreed it was much better than the pullout. While we didn’t get to the free dinner or drinks and left before breakfast was being served, the offers seem to make the hotel worth the cost. If we need a place to stay on the way home from the beach again, I’d definitely stay here - I just wouldn’t sleep on the sofa bed again.

I get that it’s a busy hotel but this was stressful. So many kids running around and screaming all in the hallways and lobby. There was at least 10 kids between 3 and 10 in the hot tub until 10pm. They were eating food from the kick back in the pool area so there was food and plates everywhere it was gross and too much. The hotel itself was ok… but I can’t call it nice because it was so chaotic.

This is a family-friendly hotel with wonderful amenities. However, our room was too warm, and we were not able to change the thermostat. We called the front desk, but the staff member was not able to assist us.
