This is the second year my family and I have stayed at this hotel. We take our annual trip to visit my parents in the panhandle of Nebraska from So Cal. Orem is our stopping point in the first day. We stay one night on the way there and one night on the way back. The service was great as always both days, however the room cleanliness was a concern this time. We always get 2 rooms: the one for myself and husband and the other for my 2 teenage and 2 young twenty aged kids. My room was fine both times, however Mr kids room was not. On our way there, the kids room had some vulgar drawings on the wall near the floor, as well as hair on the sheets of one bed. On the way back, my kids room had an ant problem on the pull out sofa, which caused my son to have to share a bed with his younger sister, which he was not happy about.
Overall, we had an ok stay. I am chalking it up to just some bad luck this trip, since our stays have always been good before. We always eat breakfast before we check out and that has remained constantly good. I would stay here again and hope they can just step up some of the cleanliness issues.

The stay has been good. This was an overnight stay my kids earned. I also appreciate the staff for canceling my “second” room as apparently the app I booked through didn’t send the correct reservation details so I ended up with two reservations instead of one. So I appreciate the staff helped me out as that wasn’t my fault.

I liked everything about this hotel, except for the fact that every lock throughout the entire hotel, was on the fritz. It was convenient for me to park on the side of the hotel, but my key would not work on the outside door. When I asked the front desk about it, they said that I just need to make sure to only insert the tip of my card for it to work. Even with that advice, I never got it to work once. The pool was the same way. I was told by the front desk that I was to only stick the card in about halfway and make sure it is perfectly straight. This probably worked about half the time. I’m pretty sure that all the swiping demagnetized the card over and over, because it was at least once or twice a day that I would need to go to the front desk to get my card reset in order to get into my own room. We stayed with two other families, and they said that they had the exact same experience with their keys.
Why not spend the money to upgrade the locks? It would’ve been five stars across-the-board had it not been for the constant key card issues

Room was in disrepair and showed signs of heavy wear on the furniture in the bedroom and the bathroom fixtures. There was no storage space for unpacking bags if you are the type to do so. There were also no shelves or other spaces to put anything up out of reach of small children.

We got there late and just stayed overnight, but the room was toddler friendly, and mine is no joke. Your common hotel room perils - closet doors, cords, lamps, the full length hanging mirror, the a/c unit, the drawers/cabinets on the dressers - none were overly life threatening, which was nice. Even the clock and the phone were sturdy and unproblematic. Two year old could slide off the bed without biffing it.
The lobby smelled fantastic, seriously. Check in was super fast, gal at the desk was very kind and cheerful. Take note, parking enforcement is an understatement and housekeeping definitely came on in at ten on check out morning.
I felt comfortable in the room and safe at the location. Carpets need a good cleaning but the microwave and mini fridge were clean and I didn’t hesitate to lay down.
Hot breakfast, good price. I’d stay again for sure.
