TownePlace Suites by Marriott Orem

We had a family reunion in Orem and wanted to stay close by to the Orem City Park for our reunion. We wanted to have access to a kitchen for our party preparations, which TownePlace Suites had. We were very very happy with the kitchen with it's large and spacious fridge.

We really enjoyed the kitchen and the closet space, very awesome! The pool and hot tub were much enjoyed by the 3 of us, and in good condition. The Culver’s ice cream in the snack section was wonderful. The hotel room bathroom was Tiny, and the tub spigot didn’t allow much water to reach the shower head. The area was very busy and noisy, and our view was of the freeway. The most disappointing thing was that our plans had changed, and the facility did not allow us to change our stay dates. With some help from family, we were able to still stay on our scheduled dates, but the facility policy stinks and is not consistent with what other hotels booked with hotels.com offers. If we chose to cancel, they would not offer the option of a refund even with a week’s notice. Lastly, the breakfast was sub-par even considering Covid restrictions. It was an okay stay, but I could only recommend it for the kitchen area.

Our family had a great stay in this hotel. It was a home away from home and very comfortable, clean and accommodating. The staff at the desk were very helpful and friendly. We certainly will put this hotel on our list of places to stay again!

This hotel was perfect for our family. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Having a kitchen was very convenient. We will definitely stay there again.

Overall the hotel was fine. Good location for what we were there for, but downside of that was it was VERY noisy. Both outside and inside... Walls are thin. If you're a heavy sleeper, you're fine. But both outside traffic/car noise every night and one night of called in noise complaints from kids running & jumping the floor above causing our light fixtures to shake.... didn't leave for good night sleep any of the 3 nights we stayed. Will you always have kids above you? No. And I'm a parent of 3, so don't get me wrong, I get it that it's not always silent... but enough to shake the light fixtures of the room below is not cool. Outsider noise... well you never know I suppose. We all came home without major issues or bed bug bites, so I call it successful. Probably would try elsewhere next time.

Had a comfortable stay. Hotel was homey and welcoming. The staff was great and friendly. I'd definitely recommend to families
