Hyatt Place Provo

Great stay in a really nice hotel, no hesitation in recommending it to friends and family.

They let it a little league team and the kids were running wild with no supervision. Management posted a notice to behave but of course there were o consequences. Someone even showed their contempt for the warning by hanging the notice upside down.

The Hyatt was a perfect option for our family while we attended a convention at the Utah Valley Convention Center. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was very welcoming.

Loud. We had babies crying right next to us until about 3am. There were kids running and jumping above us until midnight. The hotel was great, but I wish they would’ve helped manage ‘quiet hours’ a little bit better.

The best blackout curtains I've even seen! The continental breakfast offered many food options. My husband appreciated the exercise room on mornings that were too cold to run outside. My kids and I liked the hot tub amenities and used it on 2 occasions. The adjacent parking structure had an area for EV charging that helped because of the limited chargers in Utah County. Only 2 minor complaints would be that there is no microwave in the room so leftover options from eating out are limited. Also, only a shower in the bathroom, no tub, which my kids prefer. Overall, very nice hotel and friendly, helpful staff.

I liked the area around the property, and how close it is to destinations in Provo. Unfortunately, this property did not have a basic amenity that every family traveling with children needs - Microwave. Like seriously, how can Hyatt Properties not have microwave in their rooms?

This hotel was very modern and clean. The room was spacious for our family of 5.

Hyatt Place Provo is not a clean facility. Pets are allowed, so the hotel should be even more vigilant about the cleanliness of the rooms, but they are not. Our family stayed here recently (no pets--we don't have dogs/cats, 4-legged friends). Just after getting into my pjs, I found pet hair on my dark-colored nightshirt. Gross. We have stayed here several times in the last few years, and the cleanliness has declined significantly. I had requested a thorough room cleaning before our arrival, and still there was a layer of dust on the windowsill when my kids sat down on it, and pet hair in the room. FYI, on Sunday nights, the area is a ghost town--almost all restaurants are closed. The only one we found open was in the hotel across the street from the Hyatt. We'll be staying there from now on since they don't allow pets.
