The Whitehall Houston

There was people rolling weed in the hall! Not family friendly. Room was ghetto.

Rooms are very small. Our shower head was broke so had to get pliers to use the shower. Pool was not a good site from our room. Water was very cloudy so my kids did not want to get in. Not worth the price. You’re just paying for the location.

Long layover with cancelled flights (4 days). The staff at Whitehall starting with the front desk (Nellie & Ana Marie) were absolutely amazing. The bartender that we ordered all our meals from was exceptional as well. The pool was very clean and made the stay even more special and enjoyable for the whole family. The room was spacious, and very comfortable. This hotel and staff were simply first class.

Smells horrible, a lot of activity going on inside & out of the facility, not kid or baby / family friendly. More like a motel for a quickie, I should've gone to a Best Western atp.

Stayed here with my best friend and our two kids. I had visited this property during Covid as an option for my birthday and wasn’t able to go up and see a room. Never ended up staying here until 3/15. The hotel seemed to be nice based on pics and location. Wanted to stay downtown amongst the tall building seeing as though our children like to look at them. Getting to the room it wasn’t what I expired. No microwave, no fridge until the last night of our stay, a lot of wear to the furniture, wallpaper coming off, water damage to the ceiling right over the window, no vent in the bathroom. The list goes on. I hate that parking is so high at $40 a night. I like to be able to park my own car and get it when I’m ready. The concierge was nice & so was valet. Fitness and pool weren’t as updated as I would have liked but we never ended up using them anyway. I probably won’t go back again, but at least I know for next time.

From start to finish John and Saul provided a can-do attitude. When there was obstacles, they exceeded our expectations. They have now earned customers for life. This is a rarity a customer first attitude!!!! Our entire stay was changed by their family first approach to us. Anyone want to go to a Rockets game. Enjoy there complementary shuttle to and from the Toyota Center.. One step into the lobby and you feel like family…..

The gentleman who checked us in on the evening of march 14 was so very nice. Love when customer service is above and beyond! I was a mom with four kids and he didn’t make me feel like a nuisance with the little crazies not behaving in the lobby.

As a parent traveling with a toddler, I called ahead of check in to ensure we had a fridge, microwave and tub in our room which they said we had. Unfortunately when we checked in, there wasn't a microwave in our room. Staff and valet were nice. Rooms are functional but a bit outdated and really cramped.

Overall a great stay! We reserved a double bed for family of 4 and we got 1 bed. We showed our reservation & she said her system was showing different however we were charged for double bed. They fixed it & gave us 2 free drinks which covered our coffee in am for inconvenience. Baseboards abit dirty & abit dated in hallways but overall comfy beds, clean room & entire staff from valet, kitchen, front desk, walking in hall & seeing other staff telling us hi were all amazing & super polite. We definitely will be back, this is our go to hotel when visiting Houston! Thank you Whitehall for a nice mini family vacation! You guys rock!

The Whitehall was excellent. First time for my family. We we definitely be back!
