Comfortable beds and good enough variety at breakfast. Just did not know it was under remodel and we were placed in the 3rd floor where people were working on most rooms so felt uncomfortable and unsafe staying with all the materials dust and crews there. Also not the hotels fault but some of the people we came across while staying were speaking so much vulgarity and profanity and I had my children with me, but maybe it’s just the area or something not sure. Overall probably won’t stay there again, or will make sure construction has been completed at least.

Great location and an adequate breakfast. The hotel is just so ‘hurt.’ Our shower leaked everywhere, the cabinets were damaged, the furniture broken, etc. The beds were great. We stayed here for the pool and headed there right at after we arrived about an hour after check-in time. The staff was treating the pool with chemicals as we entered the room. Didn’t caution us nor locked/closed the room to the chemicals even though we had small children. Not a bad place, certainly not a great place considering the price

I stayed at this hotel with my kids to attend an event at the Toyota Center. The hotel was a convenient 5 minute walk from the venue, which was great. However, the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing. The hotel was very outdated. I had to have my room key replaced three times during my one night stay because it did open my room door, the pool or the gym. The actual room I stayed in was not the cleanest. The bathroom floor needed to be swept and the shower was disgusting. It was so bad, me not my kids wanted to use the shower. The lock on the bathroom door was broken, preventing us from closing the door completely when anyone needed to use it. There was also pubic hair on the washcloths, but luckily I brought some washcloths from home to use. The door on the cabinet that housed the refrigerator was slightly unhinged, making it difficult to open and close the door.
If you’re only staying for one night for an event at the Toyota Center, this hotel would be ok. Otherwise, pay a little more for a better hotel experience.

We picked this hotel for its location and the free breakfast, since we were traveling with young kids. We were on the 3rd floor and when we got off the elevator, we were immediately hit with a mildew smell and awful humidity. The A/C units in the hallway didn't work. The room smelled worse. The floors were creaky and uneasy - one spot in front of the bed felt like we would fall through the floor. The toilet seat was broken and the tub was separating from he wall. There was mold that was painted over above the shower, but was coming back through. The couch was insanely hard. The TV's are old - not smart TV's. The day we checked out, we were greeted by a roach on our wall. The front desk folks were friendly - but they were behind glass, which kills the personal touch, in my opinion. A woman had to be removed from the hotel by police during our stay... and when we checked out, the guy in front of me in line was complaining to the clerk about possible bed bugs. It was eventful. This hotel has so much potential, but these issues REALLY need to be updated and addressed by IHG. The only bright spot was the breakfast - it was good, though not many healthy options.

When we checked in they could not provide us with a crib for our infant. The elevator was also broken which made it difficult to get to the 3rd floor with a stroller. The bathtub/shower was disgusting. The door to the fridge wouldn’t close. We also asked to check out early and were not allowed.

The rooms were absolutely filthy and outdated! The room had an oder and there was mildew on the walls next to the microwave and fridge, which makes it more disgusting, and on the ceiling in various places. Additional, the bathroom was absolutely horrendous! There were holes behind the toilet, shower head was covered in hard water stains and lime, and the bathroom door was filthy and disgusting! I used a napkin to open and close the door because I didn’t want to touch it. I only stayed because the concert I was going to was RIGHT ACROSS the street at the Toyota center. The convenience was the only thing that was great. This hotel looks like you’ll bring a hooker to it. It does not represent what a business hotel would look like. Thank goodness it was only for one night! This hotel looks like a motel that’s located on skid-row housing the homeless. Go somewhere else!

The hotel was great! The only complaint would be having to reserve the pool to swim. It is only one family at a time. I know they are only trying to protect guests, but our son was upset when it was all booked up and we couldn’t swim Saturday. But now we know for next time!
