Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas NE - Allen, an IHG Hotel

I got a Queen size suite with this hotel and had some issues with the room. Our mini fridge was missing a leg so it wobble and was leaking brown from where the should have been. The fridge ended up freezing my water bottles that I put in there. I put them in the door of the unit. Tried to give my 9 month old, a warm bath and didn’t even have hot water to the tub. I had very little warm water coming from the tub. The Jacuzzi tub that we got with the suite didn’t even work. Front desk was no help saying that they don’t have maintenance on the weekends only on weekdays and my only option was to move rooms if I wanted a working tub with hot water. I have two kids under two and it was 7 o’clock at night. I was not moving them after a long day. The phone kept flashing red and we couldn’t get rid of the message on the phone. There was no guide for the tv. I had to flip through most of them to just commercials on every channel. Front desk told me that they would talk to their boss to give me points for my visit since it was not up to standard for them. She told that I will get an email the next business day. I wasn’t contacted in any way. Just disappointed in IHG.

Thought was getting adjoining rooms. As we were traveling with our daughter and two grandchildren (one of which was an infant) she needed our help. Asked them to adjust us to adjoining rooms. They refused any kind of helpful assistance because we used a “third party” booking service. So not only were the rooms not adjoining, they weren’t even on the same floor. Very rude front attendant. Then one of the rooms had a dirty toilet, (as in had fecal matter in it). Will never stay there again.

Loved the bunk beds and the bean bag in th room with the kids table. Family friendly

There was nothing i liked...when we booked with Expedia the room said a sofa bed in room....it was not. i had a child sleep on floor.

Our room should have been vacuumed prior to us checking in, but there were crumbs and we even found a pill in the "kids" room. The pool was closed indefinitely for maintenance and our shower was crazy! You could either take a nice ice shower or a scalding hot one (I'm talking third degree burns kind of hot). There was NO in between! Definitely not staying there again!

The initial room had a non-working tv and my family had to regather our things and relocate to a new floor with fair conditions. Our new room phone had no dial tone; unable to dial out. Service and employees were attentive!
