Had a number of rooms rented for family. One wasn't cleaned by early evening and staff very slow to rectify. Next morning no heat.

The hotel is nice and in a great location. The walls are thin. Our neighbors had two small children who were incredibly loud and that was annoying. Also, there is no parking on-site and you have to find parking anywhere downtown which is not too big of a deal unless it’s raining, which it was.

Couple of problems were the train and crying baby next door. Other than that room was comfortable, clean, close to a couple of nice resturants. Overall had a good time.

LaSalle Hotel is an old converted opera house minus the charm of an opera house or the amenities of a hotel. The shower is an old-fashioned, high tub with neither non-skid bottom or mat for safety. We booked the room for three but there were only two washcloths. The day bed did not have any pillows for the third person. Location is one block from a railroad crossing, with train horns blaring all night. I would not stay here again nor would I recommend this hotel.
