Embassy Suites by Hilton College Station, TX

Nice hotel. Convenient location. However it seems to attract a lot of kids sports teams. Unfortunately we had a ton of kids soccer teams running all over the hotel. Their parents were all in the bar and staff couldn’t keep up with the kids running and screaming in the lobby,the gym, in the elevator, and on the floors of the hotel.

Very clean and staff was friendly! My family stayed on Christmas and it was a great experience.

we had a blast! I would stay here every time we to go to college station.My whole family stayed here and then went to Santa's Wonderland.

Great for families. Indoor pool, free breakfast and attached free parking garage. Couch folds out into a bed

The woman at the front desk was not helpful and very rude to me. She was helping orher people while she was working on check in for me. The family in front of me was shown much more friendliness and thats why i am writing this. Terrible customer service all around

I liked that the hotel was located near our kids running event. The hotel was also quiet. The hotel is beautiful and clean upon entering. The breakfast was great with many selections. The room itself needed a lot of work. Bathroom door would not close, shower down would not close, paint was missing in parts of the room. We only had 1 remove control for 2 televisions and were told that this happens when a television is being repaired. Room service was very poor. I called 4 times to get more towels. Had 4 girls in a room and was provided with 3 towels one night and 2 towels the next. I personally had to go down to get towels. Overall not a good stay.

The hotel was very pretty in the lobby and the rooms were clean. However, in the morning we woke up and went to the lobby, expecting to have Starbucks coffee and then breakfast. It was not to be. What we found were dirty tables all in the bar and breakfast area. Not one was clean. We waited and waited for the Starbucks area to open. Finally, I went to the front desk and asked how much longer before it opened. The lady replied that they had not had Starbucks for OVER A YEAR because they didn’t have enough staff !! I was not happy and replied to her that they should take down the sign saying, WE PROUDLY SERVE STARBUCKS COFFEE”!! First of all, College Station is a huge college town. SURELY, all the students’ parents weren’t wealthy and some college students needed a job and would love to work as a barista. Secondly, it’s false advertising, especially in light that it had been over a year since they had served it. We had a newborn and chose Embassy Suites so we could have all its amenities, and believe it or not, the Starbucks that was supposedly in the lobby was a big draw for all of us.

When we arrived (only about an hour after check in time) the hotel had already given our room away even though we had paid in advance. There were two adults and three teen/preteen children in our party. They offered us an “upgrade” to a king sized bed…no, thanks.

Front desk staff was rude right off while we were checking in. We were early, so our room wasn’t ready which was fine. She said she would take my number & call when it was ready. Never received a call. Once we returned to see if our room was ready they double charged me for the 2 night stay after I told them they already charged my card. Our room had no hot water in the shower. They were told & was never offered a new room or anything, they wrote it down. Shower wasn’t even clean. Hair on walls. No towels or toilet paper. Called for them to send to the room & that never happened. Then they cleaned our room & again left no towels & took our blankets. Elevator broke down with kids in there & when the front desk was advised we were told it happens. The front office staff was very RUDE, all the other staff was amazing. The kids loved the indoor pool & parents enjoyed the happy hour. We will not be staying there again.

Great hotel, Starbucks was close, free breakfast had an order your own omelet bar, room was fantastic, my kids loved the heated indoor pool!
