We stayed there from 3/8/24-3/12/24. The entire staff was very kind and helpful especially Dawn from check-in through checkout. Please do whatever it takes to keep her there she is a great asset to the Hilton brand. Tan in your food service area was equally nice, the chef and the bartenders were also very kind, they made us feel very welcome from day one at the Greyhound. We really enjoyed our stay at Hilton In Memphis and will definitely return as well as recommend family and friends. My room had the worst view but not a deal breaker and my mattress was too firm for me would prefer less firm but also not a deal breaker. My only complaint was every day I asked for extra pillows because I need to sleep with my head elevated I was told that they didn’t have any, so please invest in more pillows. I would like to acknowledge all of your staff that was there for 5 days and four nights of my stay they all was very helpful and kind.

The room was clean and comfortable. i have no problem with that. I have stayed in much less expensive hotel/motels that have had wonderful breakfasts included with the price of the room. At the Hilton they charged $15 for the breakfast (eggs, bacon, dry potatoes, pancakes) and an additional 5 bucks if you took anything from the "continental" section, (juice, fruit, english muffin, toast, jelly). They said they were out of the pods for in-room coffee. Ok, well they had acceptable coffee in the breakfast area. However, the last day of my stay they didn't even have coffee there. "I'm sorry sir, but we're out of coffee" was their answer. One morning of my stay they didn't even have breakfast at all, citing they were out of food. Then, let me talk about the bar area. The place was open, but lights were off, not very inviting at all. My friend and I decided to have a hamburger in there. We each ordered at the same time. One hamburger was served 15 minutes later, and it took a full 20 minutes before the second burger was served. Over in the corner were members of the bartender's family, ie mother, sisters, little children and they didn't seem to have any problems getting their meals served. Then let me mention the snack shop. $5.00 for a simple Hershey bar. $5.00 for a little bag of chips. That's just over the top ridiculous gouging. The name "Hilton" used to mean something, but not any more to me. I would never ever ever choose Hilton for a place to stay.

We selected this hotel because it was one of the few downtown with a pool & I called ahead because reviews said the pool was being serviced. The gentleman on the phone said it was open & would remain that way. When we arrived it was not opened & my kids were super disappointed. The woman at the counter said she would check with the manager about using the sister property down the street & after a few minutes she confirmed that the manager had said we could, but who wants to haul their kids for blocks & wet. I paid more for this hotel & called ahead! When we entered the room there were pretzels & chips all over the ground. Upset, my husband called the front desk & asked to speak to the manager & the same woman I had spoken to said the manager had left for the day. When he mentioned that she had just supposedly spoke to him about the pool she said he was gone. When we asked for a number to call him she said there was not one. Then we asked for corporate & she finally gave us that number. The next morning we texted valet to get our car(because valet is mandatory) & when we went downstairs 20 minutes later to get in our car it was not there. We spoke to the front desk & they said we had to text & that it would be 15 minutes. We explained that we did & were told that it probably didn't go through. Overall it was a terrible experience & we were very disappointed with the service. Based on other similar reviews of the pool it seems to be their MO to have it closed "for maintenance."

Something that is not clear in the hotel info is that this property is Valet Parking ONLY! It is secure parking, but if you need something from your vehicle after they take it to park, you have to go to the front desk and they have to ask the valets to go to your car to retrieve what you need. Not the best situation. I booked two rooms with this property. One of the rooms was ok, however, one of the rooms was really bad. The a/c would not work so my son-in-law did his own maintenance on the a/c unit and found that the filters had not been cleaned in probably years. It was absolutely disgusting. Even after that, their room really never did cool down like it should have. The next morning we went down for breakfast which we had paid for through our reservation and were told that we could only have two meals per room. We had three people staying in each of our rooms...two adults and one child in each. I guess one of our guests staying the room was not supposed to eat? Needless to say, we did not eat at the hotel. And lastly, I booked these rooms through Expedia, but the front desk also charged my card for the rooms when charging me for the overnight parking not realizing I had already paid for the rooms through Expedia. It took 10 days to get a refund from the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

We went to Memphis to visit family. Hotel was clean and quiet. If you don't know the area, it's useful to use the valet service as there is no free parking. $28 plus tip to park overnight.

Our first room had a broken air conditioner in room 612. Then we switched to 212 which was also a clean room accept the bathroom. Before we even used the bathroom there was hair everywhere and the handicapped shower would leak all the way to the toilet. The bathroom floor after 1 use would stay soaked and either you wear shoes when you use the bathroom or we kept using all the towels to soak up water to prevent us and the kids from tripping. The room was totally clean. Next time we will look at the bathroom before we accept the room.
