Room was not ready at 5pm, substitute room was not super clean, no amenities, water for 5$ a bottle in a room that is $350 a night?? No security cameras, valet actually argued with me because he thought I should just park the car myself (?!) and the 11th floor windows have no safety features and were unlocked…I have a toddler with me. Mattress was very soft, old ratty and falling apart. And no room service or food nearby. Pretty disappointing.

My family stayed here for one night after I had spent the week at a work conference at the Drury Hotel. I wish I had just kept my room at the Drury instead booking the Renaissance. I thought this hotel would be more of a luxurious experience based on the pics, star rating and price. It was NOT! The room was tiny and dark with a view of only the rooms on the other side. There were not enough lamps in the room to even light it up sufficiently. Our bathroom towels had blood or some other red colored stains on them. We called down and they did bring us new towels. There was no extra toilet paper in the bathroom. The room was HOT. We were already in bed for the night and the engineer came up at 10;30 to try to fix it. He did something but we were still sweltering through the night and couldn’t sleep. We had them bring up and extra bed because it was so uncomfortable sleeping with another person even in a king bed! The bed didn’t have a sheet in it - only a comforter. So we had to just sleep on the top of everything. The pillows on the beds were awful with no structure. Alls in all. This was a terrible experience. Save you money and stay at Drury - the rooms are more spacious, super clean, and the beds were wonderful there!

Beautiful room with an incredible view of the river and HEINZ Field. Older hotel with thin walls. Neighboring room had children screaming very early in the morning.
