Pros- breakfast every morning. Easy parking. Staff was very nice. Hotel had towel and cleaning staff picked up our trash and kept us filled with towels especially with two little ones. Great location right between pnc and Acrisure stadiums walking distance to 10 different restaurants/bars Kid friendly place 3ft-5ft pool seemed like it was always open. Mini fridge kept everything cold which I was worried about from some reviews. Room has plenty of space for a family of four. Price of the room per night was great. Had access to plenty of ice
Cons- first night elevator was filled with the smell of weed thankfully did not linger into our room. Carpet was stained like crazy.

The room still had some confetti between the bed and wall and some other places which made me question the cleanliness.
Pool was dirty, had some parasite in the water witnessed by family and others. Hotel staff immediately closed pool.

We were booked months in advanced but they were worried aboit having enough space for us. They put us in a handicapped accessible room which is fine. The blankets were dirty with stains i asked them to come make up the bed and they through a bag in the room with extra blankets. The fire alarm went off for a false fire for only the handicapped rooms. I asked how long it would take since it was 3 in the morning they said to just move rooms. My wife and our 4 kids moved rooms at 3am which made everyone sleep in. When i asked for a late check out because we were still exhausted they gave me an extra hour. Breakfast was decent though and the bar is not an acrual bar they can only make simple drinks. 2 cranberries and vodkas that were middle shelf vodka cost 36 dollars.

Would’ve been nice to know the pool was out of order. Filtered my search based on having a pool for our kids and upon arrival, informed it was closed. They had also recently had a water main break so everything was musty and humid. I understand things happen, but some sort of warning prior to booking would’ve been appreciated. Spent way too much on this stay to not get what was advertised.

All 3 desk staff (failed to get names) were welcoming and flexible with allowing me to park before check in so I could work in the lobby. Im here for a close family member's funeral and their kindness and welcoming spirit meant a lot! When I checked in, they were informative and professional

Excellent hotel. My family and I stayed here to see a Pirates game. The home is in a fantastic location. We were able to take a walking tour and see most of the city. The area around the hotel and stadiums is very nice and there are tons of dining options within walking distance. Parking is extra but it is worth it. It is self parking in a lot not a deck and you can easily come and go. A nice surprise for us was the sofa bed. We took three kids and we’re worried one kid might have to sleep on an air mattress. We are looking forward to our next trip to Pittsburgh and we will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Hyatt Place to attend the Brewers/Pirates series. The location was perfect! Overall, the hotel was nice -- clean, breakfast was good, and the room was comfortable. There are lots of restaurants on the street which was great. There were a couple of negatives some that we can chalk up to being short-staffed which we do understand. We arrived around 12:30 with check-in not until 4:00. Our room was not available, but they stored our luggage and told us it would be ready around 2:00 and they would text us when we were good to go. We went to lunch and the casino and returned around 4:00 (still with no text). We were told that ours would be one of the next ones done and it should only be a few minutes. We waited in the lobby. At 4:45 (still no text notification), we approached the desk and asked again. We were immediately given a room. We arrived on Thurs. and by Sat. night no staff had yet to enter our room. We had to go to the desk and ask for more towels (which they quickly delivered). The last con was at Sun. breakfast. It was very busy and the food was good. As we were eating, what I can only assume was a homeless man came in and got breakfast. This was fine, but then he came to a table where a couple was eating and asked to sit down. They left as the man LOUDLY started talking to himself and complaining about coffee. He was using a lot of profanity and families with small children were quickly leaving. Managers should have dealt with this. Overall, good stay.

To start, this was my family's very first vacation ever, and we've been one for almost 12 years. The hotel is within walking distance to so much in the North Shore, and Kennywood, Dave and Busters, and Sandcastle are a short drive away. Free breakfast was not bad, but no waffle maker and not as many options as experienced at other hotels. Pool's sufficient, but no hot tub if you're looking forward to one. The room was a little small for four, but still comfortable and clean. Service was accommodating. Now here's the turn-offs.
The hotel is still operating with "Covid" procedures when it comes to housekeeping. After staying for five days, we were told that we had to set-up housekeeping with the staff, which consisted of a person picking up our towels and bedsheets, taking our garbage, and dropping of a literal garbage bag full of clean sheets, towels, and sundries. I wasn't expecting to make our own beds on vacation, especially for $900 and a parking fee, but whatever. I'm used to it as a homemaker. Then came the odd Starbucks scenario. When I called, I was told that there was a Starbucks, which I thought was a great perk. Then we arrive and I'm told that they aren't actually a Starbucks because they don't have the ability to do most of the things Starbucks does. What? Really strange, and even stranger that they keep the "Starbucks" overlapping with the bar stuff. No convenience items or vending machines, and there's no sort of room service, due to..."Covid".

Loved our stay. Hotel was very family friendly. Kids enjoyed the pool and the free breakfast is always a plus. Only thing to keep in mind is Pirates stadium is right there so we did have an issue trying to get to and from the hotel right before or after a game.
