Instead of being able to stay at this hotel I got a phone call about the loss of a family member. I let the hotel and hotels.com know what was going on. I was hoping the manager would have compassion enough to refund me. I was made aware by others the manager of this hotel could have made the choice to refund me as other hotels have done when a major family emergency has happened. This place was firm on no cancellations within a certain time frame under any circumstances. Told I did not cancel within 48 hours instead! Is sad and to treat someone going through this loss with no compassion. Definitely not a place that cares back to those who give them business. Wish I could have given a good review had this been handled different.

We stay here once a year usually for a baseball tournament and enjoy it every year. Swimming pool and great fishing for the kids. Love walking around and the boardwalk and going to the lake. Usually multiple bands to listen to. Rooms are always clean. Breakfast is great and time for it is great having it until 10 every morning. Love that check out is 11 so ur not rushing.

I was worried at first about this hotel when I booked it. I was extremely surprised by it when we arrived! The staff was amazing, friendly and professional, the room was immaculate, the pool perfect. I loved having the view of the water from my room. The convience of its location was a plus. Amazing restaurant attached, bowling lanes across the street and a boardwalk down the road. My kids absolutely loved it. Beds were very comfortable. The only suggestion I have is they should put restrooms in the pool area. It is only about 15-20 minutes from Cedar Point, 10 minutes from Sandusky Mall area. Very affordable for families. This will be our annual trip hotel. I can't wait to go back!

The hotel was VERY outdated. There was also a large group of kids completely unsupervised running the halls, yelling, sliding down the stairs. No parents in sight. No hotel staff in sight to put a stop to it.

Nice property. Other than the kids running around unattended the first night, it wasn't a bad stay. Would stay here again in the future. There is a pier nearby to fish from and the hotel sits on the water as well.

Everything was nice, clean, and comfortable. Perfect place to rest after a Long day at Cedar Point with the family. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Except the waffle maker which had no Pam spray and seemed to take forever to cook.

Kind of old, very outdated. I was first placed into a room with a broken lock. The bolt lock. I geeked! I’m single with a child. And the pool was next to it with an exit! I thought the worst.

My family and I enjoyed our stay! Everyone and everything was amazing! The check-in process was effortless and quick. The hotel and grounds are spotless! Every staff member we came in contact with were so pleasant and informative! We will surely be back!

We liked tjat the lake was very close, the hotel was very noisy we called front desk 2 times kids/ young adults running up and down halls yelling, cussing at 130am and no one did anything about it. We left a day early due to that and we told front desk lady and she acted like she did not care.
