Great Wolf Lodge Sandusky OH

It was an over all OKAY trip. We arrived after the check in time due to traffic and was told our room still was not ready and had to wait an hour so we went ahead and took the kids down to the indoor water park. I checked again after an hour and a half and was told our room has been ready and the room number and floor was completely different. Our bracelets would not let us into the room so we went back down to the front desk and spoke with a manager and he indeed said that was our room and fixed the bracelet issue. We get into the room and about 9:30 or so the kids are still a little restless due to the traveling and we received and noise complaint due to the floor below said we was too loud (the kids were playing) and “quiet time” was from 11:00pm to 07:00am so that definitely was hard to explain to the kids that they needed to lay down and relax after being in a car all day. Also everytime we stepped out on our balcony to hang up our wet clothes from the water park alls you can smell is marijuana. I get it may be legal in our state now but I feel the resort should have did better with keeping it out to a smoking area. (Every balcony has a no smoking sign)

Great family friendly place to stay. I would stay here again. Quiet hours were observed which was great. Communication from the hotel via text was appreciated.

Best place to go with kids

Frustrated that the water park closed at 8 daily. I had thought when I booked it would close at 10. I have older kids.

Our room, a family suite, is spacious, clean, and the beds are comfy. The staff has been friendly and professional.

Water park was a bit disappointing if you’ve been to other lodges - much smaller, fewer slides and no wave pool. Internet was very slow. Room was clean and adequate for our family of 5.

Great little family getaway! Went with out 5yo + 2yo, stayed at the kid cabin room. Great room set up to be a little separated from the kids at night. Easy check in and text message system. Lots of fun activities for the kids during the day. Kids loved the waterpark and arcade. Decent food options, we ate at all the different places

We enjoyed the property. Room was great. Waterpark is perfect for younger children. Only complaint is they need to clean better along the area of the lazy river. If my children were younger, we would definitely return.

Excessively noisy all night. Kids never settled down ran the hallwsys all night. Both Hot Tubs was full of kids, allthough there were numetous kud friendly pools. Recognizing the hotel catered to kids, but traveling Adults like waterparks as well. There should be an area FOR ADULTS ONLY
