Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Sandusky

Professional and friendly staff. Facility and room looked and smelled clean. Pool was great for young kids 3-4ft. Location close to restaurants and shopping. Would stay again.

Greeted by friendly staff upon midnight check-in, very clean and modern design, no hidden fees. Pool is pretty small, but would be fun for small children.

The overall hotel was great. There was an issue with our room that never got resolved. Didn’t get the room we wanted and booked and no one helped resolve the issue. Talked to 4 different people and they all said we need to talk to our GM. Took our name and number on a piece of paper and said they would call us once the billing was situated??? Still paid the original rate though instead of a lower rate since we were put in a cheaper room. We got put in a room next to the elevator shaft so we had a cutout of the hallway 20 feet long of unusable space. Nothing like the pictures of the 2 queen beds room. Just not happy with how things went down especially with traveling with a newborn wanting a bigger room with extra space. Will not stay here again which stinks because we like the Marriott hotels.

My family and I stayed at this hotel during the Christmas holiday for 4 days, the front desk staff was friendly and always as helpful as possible. They serve breakfast in the morning, and my room was very spacious, they have parking on-site and the hotel is literally 1-4 minutes away from various restaurants and stores, even the mall. My only complaint is that nobody came to clean my room the entire stay a housekeeper came by once our second day to give us clean towels and wash clothes and when I asked the front desk manager why that was she explained to me that the entire housekeeping staff was given the weekend off for the holiday, which is awesome for them but what about your hotel guests needs, other than that I have no complaints and I’d definitely stay here again.

The hotel was very clean and in a very convenient location with lots of food and shopping nearby. The bed was very comfortable and the room was just perfect for our little family trip.

I went out with my family and returned to an uncleaned room. Please keep in mind, before I left for the morning I stacked all the dirty towels in the corner, pulled the trash, and pulled up the covers on the bed. After reporting the issue to the management staff, the issue wasn't taking seriously. The front desk staff worker Michael and Jesi, promised to refund me up to 20 percent off my stay, that never happened. However all I wanted was my room to be cleaned. I will never stay at that location again and will recommend everyone that I know, not to as well.
