Unfortunately, we were not able to check in until after 6pm. Not sure of the exact reason, but it seemed to be a communication issue between housekeeping and the front desk. The room was clean, spacious and perfect for my family. Another issue was many flies around the coffee bar and breakfast area, which caused me to get breakfast across the street. The location is close to the waterfront, which was great, but I could only find one restaurant open withing walking distance after 7pm on a Sunday.

Was a wonderful experience. The staff we met at the hotel were polite, accommodating and friendly. We were in Cleveland to meet up with family and tour the Rock Hall and hotel was conveniently right up the street. Would stay there again if return to Cleveland .

The only issue I had was that work was being done right above my room in the middle of the day. so loud that I couldn't even watch tv. I wouldn't have minded if I would've been warned and then I could've planned an outing during that time. It was inconvenient but thankfully I didn't have small children with me I called the front desk and they apologized for the inconvenience. Otherwise the stay went well.

Our stay here was very brief as we got there close to 0100 and checked out around 1000. But the beds were very comfortable. The room was very clean. The area was quiet for it being on a main street. This hotel is getting ready for a remodel in the next few months, per the posters all around, and it’s due for a renovation. I didn’t make it down to breakfast but my children did and they weren’t impressed with the few choices that were left so maybe get down to breakfast earlier would be my suggestion. Other than that, we had a great stay.

I really enjoyed my stay. It was perfect. I will definitely book again and recommend this hotel to my friends and family who would be visiting Cleveland

Our check-in was very frenetic. There was a child's party in the eating area by the lobby that was very loud, plus one of the agents was helping a gentleman who appeared to be homeless and having extreme difficulty communicating with the agent. In the midst of all this, I was unable to hear what my agent was telling me regarding check-in, hotel rules and amenities, etc. I don't know if anything could have been done about taking the homeless man aside and away from the counter, as that may have presented a dangerous situation. But, the child's party should have been held further away from the counter. As a result, my husband and I felt our reservation was less important than all these other activities that were taking place at check-in. We felt disoriented and disrespected.

It was overall not a good stay. The front desk could not find my reservation despite me providing confirmation and iternary numbers. I even showed them my confirmation email. They still could not find the reservation. I will say that the staff members at the front desk were both very helpful and friendly, but were inable to find my reservation. Unfortunately that meant the room we originally reserved was not available. Instead we (a family of 5) were forced into a room with only two queen beds. My son was forced to sleep on the floor, as they had no roll away beds. It was the most disastrous experience I have had at a hotel. I will at least say that the staff was accommodating despite the issues. However, the experience was overall quite unpleasant.

I could not be happier w Hampton Inn. We had been booked at another hotel. It was a disaster their computers were down they didn’t have our requested room and there was no air-conditioning they asked us to wait for 15 minutes to see if the air conditioning would kick in. We waited two hours it did not. They offered to move us to another room which only had a king bed. I am traveling with my husband and two children who are adult sized king bed would not work. We were told by the woman at the front desk at the competing hotel that we would have to take what she gave us. We decided to leave. we have never stayed at a Hampton Inn. so we were a little bit leery. The women at the front desk were fabulous, everything was clean and well maintained. Hampton Inn helped us avert a disaster. We immediately joined Hilton honors and plan to stay at many more Hampton Inns.

Barking dogs, kids running up & down halls all night. Homeless beggers on property begging for food, money & cigarettes. Nobody did anything to assist. Terrible!!!!
