Drury Plaza Hotel Cleveland Downtown

This is the 3rd time i have booked a stay with Drury Inn and not have been able to enjoy the amenity of pool/hot tub. Sat in pool room for over 2 hours waiting on it to clear. Kids younger than 10 in a group of 12 with adult sitting in hot tub, stuff scattered in room at each table. I saw at least 3 other couples and two families who came in and ended up turning around and walking out. At the end of the day we all are trying to enjoy our stay but i get 1 night out a year from home to relax and couldn’t even do so. Staff did not even monitor or check in with room at all.

I was informed an hour before I arrived my reservation was canceled because my card didn’t go through. I asked to talk to a manager and he said the card was not declined but “gateway error” was shown so they canceled my reservation (which I made in March) but they could get me into a lesser room. I had no choice but to accept that because I was multiple hours from home and needed a place for the family to stay. Once we got to the hotel the experience was good even in a lesser room. I feel like I was taken advantage of because they wanted to make more money off the room I booked months in advance because of how busy Cleveland was that day.

The Kickback was very unexpected, but wonderful! Our family loved the food and drinks. We had never stayed at a Drury before but will definitely be back.

The perks are awesome!!! Hot breakfast bar, dinner buffet & adult drinks were a welcome surprise that I will certainly recommend to all family & friends!

This is my second time for a reason. My children still remember the first...the happy hour, the pool, the location, the room, the lobbyz the service. In the heart of Cleveland and perfext for any vacation. Highly recommend!

room was very good size- larger than most—- with high ceilings. The nice thing for families with children was a free dinner time selection of bbq pork and hotdogs, and free drink cards provided on arrival. Beds were fine and breakfast was like all other chains. if going to a game or to RR hall very walkable

Great hotel choice when traveling with young children. The pool was well maintained, everything you could need on the premises. The staff was kind and welcoming

Arrived with family for a sports weekend. Staff was courteous and helpful. Safe, secure, and spacious room. Food exceeded expectations. Drinks were a welcome surprise

We had a delightful stay at this hotel, which proved to be a wonderful choice for my family. My son was particularly thrilled with the pool, spending a lot of time and fun in the water. What set this place apart for us was the complimentary meals provided; both breakfast and dinner were included, which was a pleasant surprise and greatly appreciated. The addition of free drinks added a nice touch to our dining experience. And let's not forget the popcorn – a fun snack that we all enjoyed! We're already looking forward to our next visit to Cleveland, and there's no doubt that we'll choose to stay here again. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable and accommodating place to stay.

Charming historic building that used to be a municipal Board of Education headquarters. Lots of marble! Terrific location in downtown Cleveland, walkable to both ballparks, the Rock&Roll Hall of Fame, and many dining options. Hot free breakfast every morning, and a free happy hour with “dinner” every evening make this popular with families. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean although I don’t love the decor (kind of dark). We were on the “quiet floor” but because of the occasion (eclipse) there were kids running and screaming in the hallways which was annoying but at least stopped at night. Very friendly and helpful staff.
