Hyatt House Jersey City

Spent our family holiday with Hyatt House. Had very friendly welcoming staff. Layout of the hotel and room was easy to navigate. Well stocked breakfast with one our two things changed each day. Room cleaned and restocked each second day. Location of hotel to adjacent subway made easy access to Manhattan and rooftop bar area hreat for drinks and amazing views.

We just stayed for a weekend family visit. The location was great, but we expected more from the hotel. Except for the artwork, the rooms themselves are quite dated. Having a kitchenette was nice, but we had problems with the dishwasher. The mattress was not very comfortable and the sofa seats also needed more support. The bathroom was clean. Free breakfast was also a plus and there was a good selection. Our biggest complaint is that if you have a room on the higher floors you are too close to the nightclub and the music was so loud it went right through to our room and went on until 1 AM. This is a problem every weekend.The parking garage is not very convenient or accessible. No in and out privileges. iThe main advantage of this hotel is the location, which is very convenient to NYC via train and Ferry and to other areas of Jersey City via Light rail, all right outside the door. The views of the NYC skyline and river are spectacular from the restaurants and along the pier.

Nice area and easy to commute to Manhattan. However, we booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children (1 sofa and 1 bedroom + kitchen). The sofa was not prepared when we enter into the room; we asked for a mattress topper as the sofa was clearly uncomfortable). Not enough towels in the bathroom (nice one). The kitchen was not equipped for 4 people. People are friendly and happy to help.

We have booked 3 rooms for my family but the housekeeping was terrible. They didn't show up for days and even when I went to reception to tell them to clean the rooms they didn't show up again..

Super friendly staff. We had a family emergency and they were very accommodating. Beds were nice. Breakfast was good too.

Stay was good, breakfast is simply superb. Overall, we enjoyed the stay. It would be nice to keep the extra comforter especially when 4 family members are staying , also to double check if AC is working before the new guests entering, although we got these resolved after giving the call to home keeping, for two nights we had to stay without AC working also my kids had to sleep without a comforter for a night. Another suggest is, now a days IPhones comes with the USB-C charging port, we could not find that port, only USB port are there, it would be nice to see those ports

It was our first time visiting New Jersey, my family and I and it has been a great experience and good service. It has many options nearby to visit NY and restaurants.

There is a stunning city view right outside the hotel's doorstep. The room was spacious for our family of four. It was clean. We cannot say enough good things about the staff we encountered. The customer service was excellent. Although world-class dining abounds in NYC when traveling with kids, sometimes you simply need a salad or pizza, those options are a stone's throw away. Transportation to the city and Red Bull arena is also super easy from this location.

The staff was great, the room was big and bed was comfortable! My only dislikes was the shower seal was broken so the shower would leak a lot and the toilet was broken . I also wish the bathroom had a fan but other than that it’s in a great location. And there’s a park right outside for the kiddos.

Location was excellent, staff in the hotel itself was accommodating and room set up was great. Silverware missing but I had my own. There were ants on the woodwork which I reported as well but did not want them to spray since I had 3 children with me. My husband reported to the desk in the am that the room stank of mold and we were all stuffed up when we left. Room 317 should have air filter in kitchen changed or cleaned.
