Courtyard Jersey City Newport

Convenience at its best! Right next to the Path, a short walk to Newport mall and so many other restaurants. We parked in the garage which is right next door and very easy access from the hotel. We traveled to NYC every day of the 4 days we stayed at the hotel and used the Path. Short walk to the waterfront and beautiful NYC skyline and JC skyline. Couldn’t have asked for better, watched fireworks from both NYC and JC on 4th of July at the waterfront about 5 minute walk from the hotel. My only issue was a particular receptionist who was very curt and did not seem interested to answer any questions when we asked about fireworks or things to do on July 4th. Her answer was check online, I don’t know what’s going on. Then when I spoke about the fireworks, she mentioned to go to Hoboken to see them because we wouldn’t be able to see nothing on the waterfront. We actually went to the path station, the train to Hoboken was in 21 minutes so thought of venturing to the waterfront. Two kind police officers told us to just stay at the waterfront and we would be able to watch the fireworks from both sides. This receptionist also made rather disturbing comments about kids walking in and out the door. She shouldn’t be in the hospitality business. Also, it would be nice for the hotel to serve coffee/ tea in the lobby. There was a pitcher, some days with water and others without! The times there was water, there were no cups! Overall, for convenience I would rate this place highly!

The hotel is clean and everyone was super nice. The rooms are nice as well as the beds and pillows were comfortable. At the front desk everyone was helpful and nice. They even found a screw driver to help open one of my kids new toys. Has a nice patio outside and is really convenient to the path train and a boardwalk. There are plenty of food places to eat as well.

Unsafe property. Did not compensate for unsupervised children talking to my wife in front of my 5 year old who made her cry. Management neglect almost caused rowdy unserpervised children to drown

This hotel was perfect for our family trip. We had 3 teenagers with us and had plenty of room for everyone. The hot tub and pool were clean and were an awesome way to relax at the end of the day. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Parking was convenient and easy ($30 a night fee). And the location can’t be beat—walkable with lots of close places to eat, plus the PATH is literally right next door. It was super easy for us to hop on a train to go into the city each day. This was a great option for our larger family. Would definitely stay again.

Early check in was a huge plus! Pool was nice for kids but could be updated/extra cleaned. Lobby was nice, and basic room was quite big with a decent view. Tons of food options and very convenient in all respects.

We are a family with two teenagers so we were a little anxious about the family room, but it is the perfect size. The hotel is ideally situated beside a mall and Target and a stone's throw from the Path which will get you downtown in 20 minutes.

Clean. Close to walkway with best views of Manhattan skyline. Location is excellent just next to PATH into Manhattan. We stayed in a double queen with sofa bed, family of 5 adults, the room was good enough.

Family visit to NYC with kids worked out very well. Very nice clean rooms, highly convenient location for getting into the city via subway or ferry. Lots of excellent family food options in walking distance. A positive experience. I only wish we had remembered to bring swimsuits.

This was the perfect place to stay for a family trip to NYC. The PATH station was next door, and the hotel was clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

It was close to the weeding place and friendly with us 5 to be able to be in the same room, since it is 3 kids and us couple. Clean and close to everything
