Wingate by Wyndham Tupelo

Ive stayed at this hotel many times on my way to and from visiting family in AR. The renovations are very nice and updated the facility. Room is spacious, clean. Bed and linens fresh and very comfortable. My only complaint is the breakfast. While i dont expect full hot breakfast, i think there coild be improvement on what is offered, and when pans get low, someone is there to refill.

The hotel was a nice place to stay. I could have given top rating except for a few things. There were no written directions about operating the TV. There was no way to get help from the desk using the room phone. I would have also appreciated written directions about internet. I tried calling the desk using my cell phone and could not understand the person who answered. We have grandchildren in Tupelo and would love to stay with you again.

The front desk lady who check-ins, then turned around and worked check-outs the following morning is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. She was polite in conversation upon arrival. We found out we were born and raised in the same area, had children roughly the same age, then proceeded to have a few moments of bonding with a complete stranger— all because she treated me like a person and not just another check-in. I was delighted to exchange a few more words with her upon checkout. As for the hotel, it was delightful. The rooms were clean, hallways were quiet throughout the night, and breakfast was quite adequate. If I find myself traveling through the area again, I will definitely book another stay here.

The room was clean and adequate for a traveler. However, the breakfast options were extremely disappointing. Coffee was terrible. They only offered water and a tiny bit of milk in a container for children. All the fruit juices were marked as out of order. The only fruit options were apples, nothing else. Half of the breakfast bar was empty and it wasn't from a busy clientele. We were one of the first families in the lobby that morning. It's very disappointing. Luckily I had granola bars in my car for my kids to have for breakfast.
