The Godfrey Hotel Boston

We loved our stay at the Godfrey! From the staff being super helpful, to the clean room and location of the hotel, which was within walking distance to a lot of historical locations, this was a wonderful experience for me and my family. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Visited Boston to attend my Granddaughter's college graduation. I was very impressed with the staff. Very professional and friendly. The hotel is centrally located in Downtown Boston. I was able to walk to restaurants, Emerson College, Boston Commons and even to the Boston South Station. However, I was truly impressed with the pillows - amazing! Slept like a baby. Highly, highly recommend The Godfrey Hotel Boston.

The room was very clean and the staff were excellent. Very courteous, professional and responsive. Daily housekeeping did an excellent job. The hotel is very modern and we felt very comfortable. George Howell coffee is attached via the lobby and has excellent coffee. I would have to rate this 4 stars though as it is not the most baby friendly hotel, parking is offsite (2 blocks south towards Chinatown) via valet so not the most accessible and the resort fee was quite expensive. We had a 1 king bed room and with an added crib, there was not much room. The standing shower was not the most ideal for my 10 month old but I was prepared with an inflatable tub. I would highly recommend for couples or those without very young kids. We still enjoyed our stay and I would come back only when my child is much older.

Great location, VERY quiet room, great curtains, VERY nice staff, convenient coffee shop with nice breakfast, short walk to multiple train stations. Only issue is the mattresses in my double queen room were extremely soft, like spongy and saggy, which I don’t like personally. Staff offered me room change, which I declined because didn’t want to move family for just a night. Otherwise I’d highly recommend and if I were to visit Boston again I’d stay here if I could get a better mattress Just don’t expect a top flight room, as they are not a five star hotel.

Our family of four had a great stay at this hotel. It is spotlessly clean, had everything we need, and super convenient for touristy stuff and restaurants. The snacks were a big hit for the kids. Highly recommend it.

Hotel was in perfect location to all major touristic attractions. Staff were very helpful and friendly! Room was very clean & loved the daily snacks/water available in the room. Definitely recommending the hotel to my friends and family.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel is modern, clean and well-appointed. The bathrobe and slippers are a nice touch and the rooms/beds were very comfortable. The daily snacks were great although we paid for that with our daily fee. The location was just off the main drag so we found it to be quieter than some other locaitons. Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Boston!

We had to call the front desk 3 times and wait for over an hour to get linens sent to our room for a sofa bed our kids were sleeping in.

I particularly noticed the friendliness of the staff. It didn't matter whether it was the front desk or a person working in the rooms on my floor. I was greeted with a smile. It felt like they cared about me and my family. The accommodations were top notch too. Thanks.

Great location in the heart of everything. We were in a double queen room with our family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 teens. The rooms are small but well appointed. We had to get creative with placement of bags. Hotel staff was great.
