Great location for everything. So it’s very convenient. But the rooms are tiny. Like claustrophobic tiny. And the staff spend way too much time talking to random friends (very loudly) forever! Just watched 4 random kids walk in and hangout with the front desk person for 30 minutes doing nothing but loudly talking about personal lives and disturbing all of us sitting nearby. This happened twice on sunday. And saw it earlier on Friday afternoon too. And these were not guests or fellow staff. Just random off the street friends. Can we keep the loud personal chit chat to a minimum and be more professional atmosphere?

I highly recommend this property. I chose to stay in this hotel because it’s only a few minutes to train station which made our vacation a success. I was able to visit family members who live 30 minutes away from downtown Boston. The hotel staff were very helpful too and friendly. The staff helped me book a city bus tour. The area is safe. The hotel is clean & my room was very spacious.

No issues at all with our room, the facility, or the staff. The hotel is just a few feet from the train station, making it extremely convenient and relatively safe, even after dark. The area is tourist heavy, and our family felt safe at all times, though we weren't out late into the night. Tons of dining and shopping options directly around the hotel. If you've never been to Boston before (like us), this is a great place to stay.

The hotel is in an ideal location for downtown Boston. We had an amazing room, that was actually quite large. The bed and even the towels were incredibly comfortable. The first day, the hotel staff were amazing in helping my get my baby and all my luggage up to the room. On the checkout day, the hotel staff wouldn't even bother to help me get a luggage cart, they told me to go find one in the corner, then I waited 25 minutes (this is not an exaggeration!!) to take it up the one and only elevator working because people kept getting off and not saving the door before it closed and went back upstairs or staff would be on it from the basement and I couldn't get the luggage cart to fit with their equipment. The front desk lady just watched me waiting and waiting, while my baby was upstairs with my husband screaming and ready to go. I don't know if I can recommend this place. I really did have a good stay other than the staff and elevator issues. Not sure I'll be back with a baby.

Good location for food and shopping. Staff have really gotten used to apologizing to guests. When my family checked in at 3:30, only one of our rooms was available. The other wasn’t ready until after 5, and they were 4 floors from each other. They can’t refund their incidental hold on your credit card for 10 days, and they had 1 small (maybe 6 person) elevator working for the whole hotel. People were nice, but seemed numb to delivering bad news to guests with no emotion.

Our concierge, Matthew, was great. He answered all of our questions and gave us wonderful dining suggestions. When the reviews said it was close to everything, they weren’t kidding. Thank you for making our stay so special.

We loved the hotel itself but were incredibly disappointed when we showed up to the hotel at 10pm with two young kids and were told they did not have a room for us and that we had to go to a different hotel for the night. We have never had that happen before and it was very inconvenient, especially considering we had two young kids in tow and had spent the entire day traveling to get there.

friendly staff at the front desk, bed is comfortable, but rooms are incredibly small. Couldn't share a room with someone other than partner/spouse or child due to lack of any privacy- shower in the hallway right by front door.
